Parts of Surf City, NC evacuated over bomb threat

SURF CITY, N.C. — The Surf City Police Department has confirmed that they are investigating reports of a bomb threat, WECT reports.

“Parts of the town” are being evacuated, officials said.

Officials say they are turning away cars, but wouldn’t say where the cars are being turned away from.
