Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly revealed at a Likud conference on Wednesday some remarkable facets of the Basic Law he submitted last Thursday, which would enshrine Israel’s status as the nation-state of the Jewish people.
Netanyahu told the head of Likud’s hareidi division Yaakov Vider at the conference that he intends to make the Hebrew calendar, which is based on Jewish law, the official calendar of Israel, reports Kikar Hashabat.
The new law also would establish the Talmud, the core work of Jewish law, as an official basis for Israeli state law.
“I’m going to personally be involved in the law defining the state of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people,” Netanyahu reportedly told Vider. “It’s a very important law that will influence how Israel will look in thefuture.”
“I want to anchor in this law, that it will be a Basic Law that the state of Israel arose and exists on the basis of the Torah and the Jewish tradition,” Netanyahu explained, promising to define the Hebrew calendar as the official state calendar.
Netanyahu also promised that “we will define in the law the Gemara as a basis for the Israeli legal system,” referencing the Jewish legal text analyzing the Mishnah, a legal work of the Jewish sages, which together form the Talmud.
Discussing the new Basic Law on Sunday in a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stated “the existence of the State of Israel as a Jewish state does not actualize itself enough in our Basic Laws, which is what the proposed law aims to fix.”
Netanyahu stressed the law would not restrict the rights of non-Jewish citizens of Israel. He further dismissed opposition to the law by leftist MKs, foremost among them Justice Minister Tzipi Livni who pledged to block the law.
“They want a Palestinian national state to be built beside us, and to turn the State of Israel, meanwhile, into a bi-national state, Jewish-Arab, within our restricted borders,” Netanyahu argued, saying the new Basic Law would prevent such a situation.

Yep. I just can never remember what part of the Talmud says what…but yes, I knew what’s in the Talmud…the workings of Satan. The Talmud originated with those Jesus Christ denounced: the Pharisees, Saducees, and the scribes that derive from the Kenites, who come from Cain (see Strong’s Concordance for verification), which IS the Satanic Seedline! (But I have no idea HOW they survived Noah’s flood…but they did…the Kenites are mentioned in Numbers, Joshua, and other Bible books, including Jude).

James Strong and the ASV
James Strong (1822-1894) was born in New York City and became a Methodist theologian and scholar. As with many scholars of his day his views concerning the inspiration and preservation of the Scriptures were quite liberal. As G.A. Riplinger states in one of her articles,
Strong’s liberal views got him a seat on the corrupt Revised Standard/American Standard Version committee. Westcott and Hort sought American Bible critics to join with them and work on their Revised Version. In 1870 the British Committee voted “to invite the cooperation of some American divines” (Matthew Brown Riddle, The Story of the Revised New Testament American Standard Edition (Philadelphia: The Sunday School Times, 1908, p. 11). Strong became “a member of the Old Testament company of revisers” (New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge (New York: Funk and Wagnalls Company, Vol. XI, p. 115).
Strong was hand-selected by Phillip Schaff, new age Parliament of World Religions participant.
Philip Schaff was probably the most “esteemed” scholar of the 19th century. He was a prolific writer and a key element in the production of the ASV. Needless to say, Schaff was also an avowed liberal,
Philip Schaff denied the inspiration of the Bible and only chose committeemen who agreed that the Bible had never been inspired; he called ‘inspiration,’ “the moonshine theory of the inerrant apostolic autographs” (See New Age Bible Versions for more details, p. 458; David Schaff, The Life of Phillip Schaff, NY: Scribner’s Sons, 1897, pp. 439, 351, 357, 434-435). Not only did they deny that God gave the Bible to man, but they denied that what they termed ‘men’s words’ were preserved. Their ASV Preface jabbed that, “The Hebrew text is probably corrupt…” (p. vii).
In 1885 Westcott and Hort published their corrupt Revised Version. Some of the American scholars (Schaff, etc.) who were involved with the project were not completely satisfied with the new translation and endeavored to produce an “Americanized” edition of the RV. The American Standard Version of 1901 was the result. The corrupt RV and ASV are the basis of all the modern versions that flood the market today.
The RV and ASV are loaded with heresy, but why should that surprise anyone? They were translated by heretics. Notice in this quote from Riplinger the doctrine of another noted “authority” often quoted by ignorant Fundamentalists,
The RV/ASV Committee included several Unitarians (those who deny the Trinity and other central doctrines). One such man was American Bible critic, J. Henry Thayer, author of Thayer’s Lexicon. Therefore it is no surprise that the ASV marginal note for Matt. 2:2 (“worship him”) states that Jesus Christ is just a man, a “creature,” and not God, the “Creator.” The ASV’s note for John 9:38 repeats that Jesus is a “creature” not the “Creator” (in reference to the words, “And he worshipped him”). The notes say, “The Greek word denotes an act of reverence, whether paid to a creature (as here) or to the Creator …” However, the ASV has a similar note in Luke 4:7 referring to the worship that the devil asks for (“If thou wilt therefore worship before me…” ASV). Here the note omits the parenthetical (as here). Therefore, the ASV specifies that Jesus is, in their opinion, a “creature,” not the Creator. But it does not specify that the devil is a “creature” and not the “Creator”! Again, in Matt. 4:9, the ASV leaves the choice to the reader whether the devil is a creature or the Creator. The ASV states emphatically that Jesus is a “creature.”
