Of the many various scandals that surround Bill and Hillary Clinton, the mysterious death of a close friend and White House counsel during the Clinton administration has been one of the more sinisters clouds casting shade on them.
In 1993, Vincent Foster was discovered dead in Fort Marcy Park in the Washington, D.C., area, apparently the victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
At least, that was the determination of two separate investigations into the matter. Foster’s death was ruled a suicide and the case was closed.
However, newly discovered evidence in the case may point to things not being as clear-cut as we were led to believe, according to WND, as two researchers believe they have discovered evidence of a second gunshot wound on Foster’s body, possibly from a different caliber as the other.
The pair of researchers, Hugh Turley and Patrick Knowlton, point to a couple of documents buried in the National Archives that were prepared by a former federal prosecutor involved in the original investigation as proof that the death was not a simple suicide, but in fact foul play.
Those documents were written by Miguel Rodriguez, one a letter of resignation from the investigation, and the other a 31-page memo detailing some of his findings, including a possible second gunshot wound to the neck from a smaller caliber than the purportedly self-inflicted .38 caliber gunshot wound to the head.
The official report only mentioned the single wound to the head though, which likely prompted Rodriguez to resign from the investigation, citing the overlooking of evidence and a rush to judgement in an effort to quickly close the case.
Rodriguez also detailed several ways in which he believed that the investigation had been compromised, including inaccurate witness statements and questionable “photographs of photographs” entered as evidence, instead of the original crime scene pictures.
He also claimed to have been mistreated and harassed to the point of resigning after raising his concerns to fellow investigators.
Rodriguez is now a U.S. attorney in Sacramento, according to WND. He did not respond to WND requests for an interview, according to the website.
There have long been allegations of a cover up regarding the mysterious death of Vince Foster, and the rediscovery of this evidence that was left out of the final report, as well as the reports of harassment and intimidation, lend some credence to that belief.
It would be nice if the entire case was reopened and evidence examined once again by a team of unbiased and professional investigators, but that seems highly unlikely at this point.
Please share this on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word that there is long-covered up evidence that Vince Foster may not have committed suicide after all, but was instead murdered.
