  1. I lived in Oahu Hawaii years back and remember him…well loved. I was told not to go into the northeast side of Oahu because I was howlie and they would hurt me…But I took my 12 string acoustic guitar and was well excepted…
But off topic, a bit…I think I told ya’all that my step daughter of 10 years, she was 17 committed suicide…I have no clue what happened. We were the normal middle class family, other children went thru hard times, but who the frick kills themsleves at 17? I went thru counselors, other mothers that went thru the same thing, and read for what seems a million hours. I simply dont know. The wife blamed everyone else, including me. She lost it and is off somewhere I dont know. It was July 8 2013 so one year is coming up soon. My pain was beyond your belief. But every day I did nothing but cry and pray to our dear Lord Jesus Christ. I could write a novel, and maybe I will someday, but Jesus Christ got me thru this. Anyway, I would not even date, and such but a special person came into my life as a friend. She stood by me. It took 6 months before we even kissed. The link below is a song that I relate more to Jesus Christ, but this lady is so special to me now I can add her to it…it is a beautiful song and I am sure you all heard it but check out the lyrics closer..I was fortunate, after almost a year, to find someone that I could actually sing this song to… thanks for your time..and hey guys/gals, I know what is going on in the world, but its not a battle against flesh and blood its a battle of spiritual principalities, I am sure you know the scripture..I love you all.. Here is the song… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSfOB8ANdWU

    1. Thank you for sharing your testimony, hweinhard. I am truly sorry for your loss. Some things we just can’t understand on this side of Heaven. I love that only hymn “Farther Along”…we’ll know all about it, farther along we’ll understand why. Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine, we’ll understand it, all bye and bye”.

And the song you and Angel posted, oh, my! I had not heard that
in many, many years. It was a blessing.

I met my present husband (married over 30 years now) after a very painful marriage had ended. We were friends for many months before we actually fell in love. We are still friends these many years later. And we both love and serve the Lord.

      Just keep on for Jesus!!!!

    2. wow hweinhard What a story. I too am with the one who I was meant to be with. God joined us together. Let no man pull asunder. He will heal all your wounds, and wipe away all your tears. He has for me, and you as well. And now we go on to other times in our lives. All to His glory, and honor. The battle against principalities, and powers will continue until HE comes again. Keep the faith brother. It’ll all be worth it in the end. He shall overcome the world. 🙂

  2. “The story of life is quicker than the blink of an eye, the story of love is hello and goodbye, until we meet again.”
—Jimi Hendrix (1942–1970), in a poem found next to his bed in the London hotel where he died

  3. Angel your post reminds me of Daniel so much. Especially on the anniversary of his passing. thank you for posting it. love ya.

    1. I’ll post it for you. 🙂
(I’ve found that if you hit return (after comment) and place the link below, it works. The video doesn’t come through when you place it as part of a sentence. 😉 )

      1. hweinhard,
You need to send that one in as a “stand alone” (rather than a comment). 😉
        🙂 🙂 🙂 😉
