Special Operations Marines training in New Orleans area

130913-M-WY229-003NOLA – by Paul Purpura

Preparing to deploy to combat terrorism, Special Operations Marines and sailors again are undergoing certification training in urban warfare in the New Orleans area, the military has confirmed. The training began Tuesday and continues through Jan. 28, but the nature of the exercises was not released publicly.

Similar training occurred in August, months after U.S. Special Operations forces underwent training in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing. That training wasn’t announced in advance and involved military helicopters appearing in the night over the French Quarter and Central Business District areas.

Portions of the training that began this week “will be conducted in remote locations in and around New Orleans,” said Capt. Barry Morris, a spokesman for Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. “The forces will work in cooperation with local authorities and residents to provide an opportunity for realistic training to all stakeholders and minimizing disruption to the local communities.”

He said the Marines and sailors are training “to ensure the highest degree of readiness” for deploying for what the military calls the global war on terrorism. “There should be no military aircraft or helicopters involved in this training, nor is any simulated gunfire expected,” Morris said.

  1. Wasn’t the military busy with war games when a missile smashed through the side of the pentagon on 9/11 though the official story says it was a jumbo jet that left a sixteen foot wide hole at point of entry and then completely vaporized?Guess I wouldn’t worry much about terrorists in New Orleans when it appears the leadership is being trained at domestic U.S.bases.What if the terrorists, real or imagined, are actually created by government to scare the rest of us into supporting undeclared wars of aggression fought for land, resources and political control while simultaneously gaining our consent to abolish our natural and constitutional rights? What if our militarized police forces don’t exist to protect us from crime and terror but to expose us to it?Nah,perish the thought.Everybody knows that second guessing the motives of the state is an un-American activity undertaken by fools who would believe anything as long as its not on t.v.

  2. “will be conducted in remote locations in and around New Orleans”

There are no remote locations in New Orleans or directly around it, it a metropolitan city. Surrounded by suburbs that are now cities. They are just gearing up for a false flag, they can have New Orleans, it is a cess pool of crap. I lived there for a few months, worst few months of my life that I will never get back.

    1. Yes sir, I sure did. We got a Cajun blizzard here. It is not bad by northern standards, but, for down here it is. I-10 and I-49 are closed. The 19 mile bridge over the basin is closed. Glad I work at home on days like this. 🙂

  3. Urban warfare training in ameriKan cities should be a clue to what they have in mind for the future. Still want to believe that this is going to end peacefully? That passive resistance is going to work when they are actively training to enslave or kill you? With law enforcement all over the country being given MRAP’s for the city streets.Call me cynical but none of this looks the least bit peaceful to me!

  4. “The forces will work in cooperation with local authorities and residents to provide an opportunity for realistic training to all stakeholders and minimizing disruption to the local communities.”

Stakeholders? Gee…Almost sounds like a “corporate” army in training.

“nor is any simulated gunfire expected,” Morris said.”

But I bet REAL gunfire may be expected if people don’t play along to get along.
