Tennessee School District Temporarily Halts Bible Club Following Complaint From Atheist Activist Group

World Events and the Bible

WEB Notes: The school district should not halt anything especially a Bible class over an atheist. If you are an atheist, look, we can still be friends. If you do not like the Bible class then start an atheist class. I will not like it, but it is within your rights to do so. It is no ones right to take away my rights or my fellow citizens.

Also, why does the source of this article constantly call an atheist group “prominent”? There is nothing “prominent” about an athesit.

2 Peter 3:3
3 “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,”

4 “And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

They have been saying it for thousands of years and they will continue to say it. The athesits will not believe and that is their own choice, but their choice does not need to be pressed upon us. One more verse.

Psalms 14:1
1The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

That sounds like an insult. Well apparently you were able to catch that then. Believe if you want or do not believe that is your choice and you will certainly answer one day for it. No threats, I am only explaining what will happen. Love your Father or hate Him it is up to you.

Officials at a school district in Tennessee have temporarily shut down a Bible club at a local elementary school following a complaint from a prominent atheist activist group.

The Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) recently sent a letter to Bartlett City Schools after learning that a Bible club was being held on the premises of Altruria Elementary School. The club, which meets before the start of school, is voluntary and is attended by a number of first and second graders.

  1. “It is no ones right to take away my rights or my fellow citizens.”

Too many folks that are supposedly awake are STILL falling for the ‘citizen’ bullsh#t. Trenchers know better… WE’RE NOT CITIZEN/SLAVES.

“The club, which meets before the start of school, is voluntary and is attended by a number of first and second graders.”

If it’s voluntary, then I’d like this atheist @sswipe to produce the person holding a gun to his head & forcing him to go.

    Otherwise, he needs to STFU!

For the record, I agree with you completely, and I’m an atheist with respect to Christianity and all other religions that I’ve ever heard of. (I’m an agnostic regarding the existence of some kind of Higher Power.)

On principle, I disapprove of atheists trying to shut down public religious activities. If someone ever wants to have a respectful debate about religion with me, that’s fine, but I see no reason why I or anyone else should feel compelled to beat others over the head with a certain religious viewpoint.

Everyone needs to swallow their pride and learn to agree to disagree about such matters. That goes double for those of us in the Liberty Movement, who MUST NOT allow ourselves to be divided by religion under ANY circumstances.

“Prominent” simply means “well known.” Certainly there are many prominent atheists, just as there are many prominent Christians and people of other religious views. Some of the smartest people on the planet are atheist or agnostic, but that doesn’t mean they know everything or that one has to agree with them.
