Guns like an ak dont require a stock to fire. An ar needs.the buffer. Recently they started selling devices that allow an ar to fold at the buffer for storage.
Its just a clarification of what was already the rule. Albeit an unlawful usurpation of the people rights as documented.
Trump strikes again. Basically if you have a folding stock or a forward barrel grip you may be screwed under Trumps new rules at the ATF..
This means AR180’s with a 16″ barrels and a forward grip may be in violation.
A rifle like a daewoo even though it uses an AR magazine and fire controls maybe in violation as well because of the function of the action.
The 10″ and 14.5″ barrels, folding stocks and forward grips are going to bite a lot of people in the arse.
Personally i would dump the short barrels and replace them with 20 inch barrels.
Everyone is talking about pinning and welding flash hiders on to their shorter barrels. Yes that “may” bring your firearm under compliance but then you may have other issues for disassembly.
