   In the United States, VHF civil aircraft communications are placed in the 100 MHz band and allocated 760 channels within the range from 118.0-136.975 MHz. As a pilot, every frequency you talk on will fall within this range.

   its not like the frequencies are any huge secret , to call it a “breach” makes it sound like these open frequencies are some how protected and got infiltrated .. thats not the case , false reporting fake news , journalistic bullshit

   any one with a VHF radio transmitter can sit and find the used frequency for a given airport , and transmit .. so not very secure
   calling it a breach is a stretch . sure they made “rules” but as we know .. criminals dont follow rules or laws ..and neither does our government
