Tiffany Mitchell On Witnessing Michael Brown Shooting: Police ‘Showed No Kind Of Remorse’

tiffHuffington Post – by Paige Lavender

Tiffany Mitchell, a woman who says she witnessed a police officer shoot and killMichael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, shared her story during an appearance on CNN with her attorney Wednesday night.

Mitchell said she was driving when she saw Brown trying to pull away from an officer as the two were “tussling through a window.” She said she had hoped to get a video because the incident “just didn’t look right,” but failed to get her camera out in time.

“I didn’t know exactly what was going on, but I knew it didn’t look right for someone to be wrestling with the police through the police window, but I didn’t get a video because a shot was fired through the window, so I tried to get out of the way,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell then described what she saw happen between Brown and the police officer.

“As I pull onto the side, the kid, he finally gets away, he starts running. As he runs the police get out of his vehicle and he follows behind him, shooting,” Mitchell said. “And the kid’s body jerked as if he was hit from behind, and he turns around and puts his hands up like this, and the cop continued to fire until he just dropped down to the ground and his face just smacks the concrete.”

Mitchell clarified she heard a shot after she saw Brown trying to pull away from the cop, and said even after Brown turned to face the cop and put his hands in the air, “the cop continued to come up on him and shoot him until he fell down to the ground.” She said she counted “more than about five or six shots.”

Mitchell also said she only saw one officer involved in the incident, and described him as a “white male, kind of tall, not too big.”

Mitchell said she received no pressure to change her story from detectives who on the case, but said the cops that arrived at the scene “were very rude” to bystanders and “didn’t want to tell” the public what had happened.

“They showed no kind of remorse for what happened to the kid at all,” she said.

Mitchell’s attorney said she gave a statement to the St. Louis County detectives right after the incident.

  1. Yes, there’s No excuse for shooting the unarmed.
But are we to believe this individual ?
Remember the Tawana Brawnly incident ?
Which turned out to be a Sharpton lie.
Yesterday, I listened to someone who was in the know.
Who stated these people were loitering in a restaurant
and refused to leave. The cops were called to make them
leave, and they started to “break bad” on the cops.
With holders creatures on the way, here comes the fun.

  2. Color doesnt matter

    were all in their sights
if people of a different race think that this shooting is ok, because it wasnt one of their “color “.. they are dead wrong.. this occupation of force doesnt care what color you are when the cross hairs are on your back or head

others say well he had a record or may have prior offences.. still doesnt matter cop doesnt have that info when first dealing with any one.. we also have a thing called Due Process in this country, cops need to stop being Judge Jury and Executioner with immunity

What you saw in Ferguson is an occupying force..and that is another act of subversion by our own Government , if you fall for this , allow this, we all lose
we all have cross hairs on our backs

  3. The details of what this kid doing before he was killed are irrelevant. What’s important here is that he was clearly unarmed, and surrendering with his hands high in the air, when the cop pumped 5 more rounds into him for no reason other than to experience the sadistic pleasure he received by killing someone, and watching him die.

Afterward we have cops ready to go to war to cover up the crimes of their fellow gang member. Peaceful protesters were gassed, reporters were beaten and arrested, the town and it’s ability to communicate with the outside world was closed down to allow more criminal activity by the police.

The cops, by their actions, clearly announced that the Bill of Rights no longer exists in their jurisdiction, and since that jurisdiction lies within the borders of the U.S.A., every last one of those pig bastards should have been shot to pieces.

You can walk in circles carrying signs forever, but it’s not going to change the fact that we’re living in a communist dictatorship, and if you ever want to see your freedom or civil rights again, YOU are going to have to fight for them.

All of the protesting by residents, and race baiting done by the media whores only helps to hide that fact. Your country has been usurped. THAT is what’s obvious, and important here, and either you’re going to fight to save it, or you’re going to allow your country, and everything else you have, to be taken from you.
