Published on Jun 10, 2013 by markfiore

Take a look at Apple and other corporations who are doing legal-ish tax avoidance. What would happen if an individual tried some of the same tricks?

  1. C’mon people
We the People, Not We the Corporations

On January 21, 2010, with its ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations are persons, entitled by the U.S. Constitution to buy elections and run our government. Human beings are people; corporations are legal fictions.

We, the People of the United States of America, reject the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United and other related cases, and move to amend our Constitution to firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights.

The Supreme Court is misguided in principle, and wrong on the law. In a democracy, the people rule. Get up, Stand up, you bums
    We Move to Amend.

    1. Dead, Why would you argue about WATER BEING WET,or the sky being blue, these made up,repugnent to our constitution “laws ” are INVALID on their face are of no authority ,imposed by bought and paid for whores, bribed and blackmailed into compliance with “the tribes bankers wishes”.We dont need to “amend “anything we just have to follow simple words that any third grader “used to be able to grasp” Common sense is all thats needed to understand the rules here in america.

    2. This is not a f#@king democracy. IT IS A REPUBLIC!!!
It is this collective ignorance that has been taught in our schools and then parroted for the past 100 years that is at the root of our problem. If you can’t figure out the difference between a democracy and a republic, how are you ever going to become the individual our Bill of Rights demands to procure self government?
Our founding fathers warned us about democracy.
“Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.” John Adams
      God bless the Republic!

  2. I have one major disagreement with Citizens United. Since slavery is outlawed and people cannot be bought or sold, how can a Corporation claim to be a person(s) and at the same time allowed to be bought or sold?

    1. Thats an XCELLENT point there Neil . It just goes to show how utterly corrupted the suoremes are – one of them at least should have come to that point. We (as in all the peoples that do real work in the world) are up against it and we rage against our govts but its really the corporations that are the main enemy !!

Again good point and so obvious that it was totally overlooked !!
