Just a nugget I heard @16:16. Something to chew on:
“Between the idea and the reality lies the fking shadow.”
In those stirring words above I hear philosophy, logic, strategy, and an accommodation of all unknowns, a sort of preparation for facing whatever life throws. Brought to mind an old radio show from the thirties called “The Shadow.” It came with a catch-phrase, “The Shadow Knows.” Hmmm, it just might.
It’s things like Henry’s words that always get me wonderin’ where we’d be if we didn’t have to invest so much life-energy into fighting demons? We are philosophers, logicians, strategists, innovators, inventors, and with so much capability just waiting to be capable, excellent, exceptional. Can’t wait for the time when no one blocks anyone else’s journey to the stars. It’s a birthright.
