Lame Beaver’s death from the mini-series Centennial – Only the Rocks Live Forever.
Thank you, Henry, very inspirational. My favorite line was:
“The Pawnee must know that our people will not let them do such things to us.”
He centered himself, set the bar at honor, and faced the fight.
And we today, same challenges: to let them know they cannot do “such things to us,” and to commit to face them and live and die with honor.
I guess none of us is just ordinary but has within us what that warrior had inside him. Jus’ gotta tap into it.
