WASHINGTON — President Obama will go ahead with a “very significant” executive action on immigration after the summer – a move that may well trigger impeachment proceedings against him, senior Obama adviser Dan Pfeiffer told reporters at a Monitor breakfast Friday.

“The president acting on immigration reform will certainly up the likelihood that [Republicans] would contemplate impeachment at some point,” said Mr. Pfeiffer, who has been at the Obama White House since its inception. ROCKPORT, Texas—Texas Governor Rick Perry’s decision to activate the Texas National Guard and deploy them along a relatively small sector of the Texas-Mexico border has brought criticism from one border county’s sheriff’s office and praise from another. While some leaders along the border appear to be concerned about a “militarization” of the border region, others see it as an opportunity to stop the senseless deaths that have been occurring South Texas.

HOUSTON, Texas–Allegations of corruption, drug use, abuse, and rape could soon put the North Texas Job Corps Center (NTJCC) in McKinney at the center of controversy. Several former employees at the center have come forward, telling Breitbart Texas about the alleged horrors they witnessed firsthand during their time at the government-funded training program for troubled youths.

On Tuesday FiveThirtyEight released the results of a poll of Americans’ opinions on the “Star Wars” universe. Not surprisingly, Jar Jar Binks is the most reviled character in the series. As Walt Hickey notes, the Gungan from Naboo posted lower favorability numbers than Emperor Palpatine, “the actual personification of evil in the galaxy.”On the other hand, with a net favorability of -8, Jar Jar is considerably more popular than the U.S. Congress, which currently enjoys a net favorability rating of -65. In fact, the last time congressional net favorability was above that was February 2005. Incidentally this was just before the release date of “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith,” which marked Jar Jar’s last appearance on the big screen. The tense situation between Ukraine and the United States is outlined in a paper released earlier this month by the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS). A week prior to the downing of Malaysian flight 17, the institute warned that the West “refuses to adhere to the principles and norms of international law and the rules and spirit of the existing system of international relations.”

In general, over the last several decades the world has experienced an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity.  The opening up of relations with China and the “end of the Cold War” resulted in an extended period of cooperation between east and west that was truly unique in the annals of history.  But now things are shifting.  The civil war in Ukraine and the crash of MH17 have created an enormous amount of tension between the United States and Russia, and many analysts believe that relations between the two superpowers are now even worse than they were during the end of the Cold War era.  In addition, the indictment of five PLA officers for cyber espionage and sharp disagreements over China’s territorial claims in the South China Sea (among other issues) have caused U.S. relations with China to dip to their lowest point since at least 1989.  So could the emerging division between the east and the west ultimately plunge us into a period of global chaos?  And what would that mean for the world economy?   Continue reading “New World Disorder: Emerging Division Between East And West Threatens To Plunge The Globe Into Chaos”

HOUSTON, Texas–The feds are currently loading thousands of illegal immigrants onto planes–many of which are commercial aircrafts–and sending them to cities across the U.S. This transportation practice has raised significant health-related concerns, amid revelations that many of the migrants are never medically screened prior to being sent to various U.S. locations.

Ramiro Cordero, a Border Patrol spokesman in El Paso, told Breitbart Texas that instead of administering thorough medical checks, “we ask a series of verbal questions. We talk to the people to determine if we need to take them for further medical care. RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas—Police officers arrested a member of the Salvadoran street gang Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, early Tuesday morning in Rio Grande City.

A police officer patrolling the streets of Rio Grande City shortly after 1 a.m. heard loud music coming from a house. While the Fascist Western nations continue to wage war, the Communist BRIC nations are quietly engaging in their own economic and financial world, free of the U.S. dollar and Western influence. During this time, not one of these BRIC countries has been actually under any physical attack. Even though they have been threatened, they have more or less been fenced off, yet at the same time, protected by the West. In addition to that, South America led by Brazil, for some reason, still has not been met with the same hostility from Western powers as the other BRIC countries. HOUSTON, Texas–On Monday Texas Governor Rick Perry announced during a press conference that up to 1,000 National Guard troops will be activated along a section of the Texas-Mexico border in an attempt to stop the tidal wave of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. each day. The governor was joined by Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst, who claimed that unaccompanied minors only make up a “tiny fraction” of the illegals currently entering the nation.

Casey Kasem’s body was flown from the funeral home in Tacoma, Washington to a funeral home in Montreal, Canada on July 14, two days before a judge ordered Casey’s widow Jean Kasem to keep the body in Tacoma for an autopsy.

But mysteriously, Casey’s body never arrived.

A representative for Kerri Kasem, Casey’s daughter, has confirmed that her father’s body is missing.

REUTERS – Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched in French cities on Saturday to condemn violence in Gaza, defying a ban imposed after demonstrators marched on two synagogues in Paris last weekend and clashed with riot police.
