Authorities: Deputy fatally shot belligerent man in N. Harris County

Chron – by Katherine Driessen

A Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy fatally shot a man armed with a power drill who came toward the officer in an apartment at 910 Cypress Station Drive on Sunday, according to an agency spokesman.

Deputy Thomas Gilliland, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said deputies responded to a call in north Harris County about a disturbance Sunday afternoon. When they entered the residence, deputies found a suicidal 49-year-old man who was acting belligerent and continuing to threaten to kill himself, Gilliland said.

The man was wielding the power drill when he came toward one of the deputies, Gilliland said. The deputy shot the man, killing him.

  1. We had to shot to kill he was going to screw us.
Not even a nail gun? A battery driver or power drill?
That about taser or pepperspray? Or leg shot?
    Had to be kill shot.
    Pigs are cowards!!
I think they like killing people.

    1. Yes. They do. And most of them are cowards and morons. If there were any good cops then the good cops would arrest the bad cops.

  2. As always, if you’re unarmed, they taser you. If you have some kind of weapon or item in your hand to use on them, they shoot you with a gun.

    Unfrigginbelievable….

  3. funny shyt, He was going to drill a hole in his head as he was “armed with a power drill” so they shot him dead. Did the officer think about taking the drill away from the man “wielding” the “weapon”? Next story will be he was “armed and wielding” a fork or butter knife. And the walmart shoppers continue to watch and believe.
    Can’t make this stuff up.
