Flying 70 year old aircraft, whilst wearing 75 year old uniforms in an attempt to scare and or positively impact a population seems a tad off kilter, to me. Makes as much sense as Palestinians throwing rocks at an MRAP tank, or using white out on the computer screen. Pissing on an electric fence also comes to mind, along with pissing into the wind.
