You can claim $900 if this free cruise robocall contacted you

Those constant robocalls are always annoying, but sometimes getting one pays off….you just have to wait for a class action lawsuit.

A class-action lawsuit against Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines could net people $900 if they received a robocall stating they won a free cruise.

The lawsuit says the cruise lines allowed the Resort Marketing Group to conduct robocalls offering free cruises, but it turned out to be a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Anyone who received pre-recorded telephone calls between July of 2009 and March of 2014 on their home or cellular telephone lines can $300 and may file up to three claims for a maximum of $900.

People can go online and check to see if their telephone numbers are part of the settlement.
