An off-duty St. Louis Police Department officer shot and killed a man who reportedly fired at him after being chased through a local neighborhood, though some claim the suspect had only a sandwich in his hands.
The fatal shooting occurred Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis, according to local Fox affiliate KTVI News. Law enforcement explained that the off-duty officer was working a secondary job when he attempted a pedestrian check. When he did this, police say the suspect raced away on foot.
“working a secondary job when he attempted a pedestrian check.” WTHeck is a pedestrian check?
Do you submit to a “pedestrian check”?
Time to start stringing these guys up. Anyone have a spare rope?
