Christie tells Sandy Protester to “Sit Down & Shut Up”

Published on Oct 29, 2014 by WNYC

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie marked the second anniversary of Sandy with a tour of the Jersey Shore to check in on the rebuilding process of towns affected by the storm. In Belmar, the Republican got a hero’s welcome as he walked down Main Street. People thanked him for his work after Sandy and voiced support for his controversial Ebola quarantine policy. But when the Governor got up to address the crowd, protesters stood up silently and help up signs criticizing the government’s response to Sandy. When police came over to tell the protesters to put their signs down, that’s when a yelling match ensued…

  1. “….the Republican got a hero’s welcome as he walked down Main Street. People thanked him for his work after Sandy and voiced support for his controversial Ebola quarantine policy.”

I don’t believe a word of that. I think the fat bastard is lucky that he could walk out in public without getting is head broken, and I’m sure that a huge police presence was the only reason that was possible.

    1. This line followed:

But when the Governor got up to address the crowd..

Makes it seem like ‘The Republican’ was someone other than dumb ass (the gov) as that POS is RHINO at best.

      Of course, it was not

  2. Christie should go beat his head against that phoney, pile of rumble called
the wailing wall. If you support illegal israel, you don’t support America.
Freedom of speech and this guy had and has a right to his say. Millions
are behind this man and others willing to speak-up. Let the games begin.

  3. And this is the guy who people want to be president? A guy who makes fun of the people and insults them, rather than listens to them. Absolutely disgusting. I’d love to take his fat ass out back and hit him over the head with a bat.
