Comcast put me on hold until they closed

Published on Aug 11, 2014 by Aaron Spain

I’ve had a lot of people ask why I would stay on hold so long: I’m not the first person I’ve heard have this happen to. I refused to hang up as I was going to give them any reason to keep my service active. There would be no “well you did hang up before we could get to you,” nonsense. I had been attempting to get service technician out from Aug 21st through August 5th. I’d had 3-4 service calls scheduled, all of them no calls no shows, and no reason as to why they can’t get the service done.

At this point I was trying to cancel service. I was transferred to the “retention” department at 7:17pm. I’m uploading this video at 10:19pm

Jump cut was to remove where my phone number was visible. sorry.

  1. We just disconnected our direct TV. I did not wait that long, but the guy was like what can I give you? I said nothing, disconnect and send me my last bill, plus they had to send boxes for their equipment. We only have internet and roku now!!¡ FREEDOM! 110 a month in my pocket!!

  2. Haha, so if I don’t pay my bill, they won’t shut off my service. I’ll tell you why. They have the NSA first dibs at spying on us, one and all. They don’t want to lose that lucrative investment. Look up: comcast admits to spying on users. They pretend it’s to improve customer relations. They say they can’t “see” who is watching. They are lying. They say they are doing what they are doing to target commercials to whom is watching. Really? What is that little box really looking at. Look up what the DOD thinks of the new “smart appliances”. Stop paying for your enslavement!
