It seems that we live in dangerous times. There are those who tell us the danger is some people hiding in a cave over in the Middle East that is our gravest danger, but there is another line of thinking that reveals we have a greater danger right here on our own shores. Consider what is happening in the State of Connecticut.
The Connecticut legislature passed a gun registration law. History clearly teaches us that registration is the first step to confiscation. So it is no surprise to see what has happened next. “Experts claim that as many as 350,000 people are in violation of the law, and over 100,000 of those people could face felony charges. That means over 3.6% of the entire adult population of Connecticut has been transformed into felons by the new registration law. Roughly one in twenty Connecticut homes could have their doors smashed in by heavily armed thugs posing as State Police seeking to confiscate firearms.” It sounds like the State Police are implementing a full bore Police State. One news report reads,
When one woman asked Connecticut State Police Spokesman Lt. Paul Vance if police would engage in door-to-door gun confiscations during a phone call, Vance labeled her “anti-American.” “I want to know, if it comes down to it, will the police go to my home if my husband refuses to give up a weapon that was formerly legal and now has been made illegal by a corrupt legislature” she asked. “Will the police actually go to my home and threaten my family, ’cause I’m scared to death”? “Ma’am, it sounds like you’re anti-American, it sounds like you’re anti-law. I can’t answer your question,” Lt. Vance answered.
When the woman reminded Vance that he was a public servant, he churlishly shot back, “I’m the master, Ma’am, I’m the master.” There are many like that woman on the phone with the State Police in Connecticut that are very, very fearful; fearful of our civil government acting completely outside the boundaries which we the people have made in our agreement to create that civil government in the first place. History teaches us a very clear lesson, mass murderers love gun registration leading to confiscation. Just ask Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung or Hitler if gun control works. It enabled them to make the 20th Century the most blood soaked century in the history of the world as they murdered their very own people.
What we are seeing in America is not a new phenomenon. Turn to Exodus 14. God gave Moses specific directions regarding their journey from Egypt. They had been traveling in a Southwesterly course which had they continued on it, would have led them into the Sinai peninsula without any difficulty, but now they were to turn directly south and encamped in a setting between a ridge of mountains on the one side and the Red Sea on the other. In other words God was leading the Children of Israel into a dead end, what might look like sure trap.
The people were afraid.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.”
We learn that after the children of Israel crossed the dry ground, Moses stretched his hand out over the sea, and the waters came back onto the pursing Egyptians.
My friends we need to step away from the fear that paralyzes. We need to see that in spite of everything, our government’s greatest weakness is its own pride – its belief that it cannot be defeated. The history of the world is littered with empires which, like ours, were over reached in their hubris and pride. There is only one hope for America, and that is repentance, revival and a return to serving the Lord and Master of the Universe, our Lord Jesus Christ.

I just pray that when the policy officers start to raid homes in complete lack of respect for the constitution, that honest American patriots, don’t go directly to LT Vances home and neighborhood to take what he hold so dearly…

Oh man, does this guy ever deserve to be hanged a hundred times over. The BALLS on this sick son of a bitch! Armed men should be dragging his ass out on the street and beating the shit out of him.
COME ON, CONNECTICUT PEOPLE. DO IT! Drag his ass out in public and beat the shit out of him. You have every right to do so. What are you waiting for? Soon as he said, “Your anti-American”,.. she should have shot back,.. “No,.. your just Pro-Nazi,…. and a confirmed traitor. The 2nd Amendment was so people could protect themselves from self-proclaimed kings & pyschopaths just like you.”
Q: How much more do Americans need to be abused before there is a ground swell of hate and discontent that will mobilize the living spirit of Freedom loving people in this country?

I was wondering the same thing — when is enough enough — and then saw an article explaining how the government above all is measuring the temper of the herd, and when the cattle get nervous, there is always something in the news that gives us a shred of hope that we might actually be progressing. But no. And they keep on putting us into smaller and smaller corrals, so that every day, the possibility of a general stampede is lessened.
The American citizens have drawn a red line against Unconstitutional Laws. Connecticut could easily become the spark that incinerates the tinder box of tyranny. Did Lt. Vance consider the possibility that other gun owners from bordering States may join the Connecticut patriot movement after the police start kicking-in doors?
