How many times has the mainstream media mentioned the USA Freedom Act? Well, if you did hear of this legislation, you must have been watching C-SPAN or a foreign press channel. Read a report from NPR, that government funded broadcast, which never fails to present a known editorial viewpoint.

“The USA Freedom Act extends many parts of the 2001 USA Patriot Act, which expires June 1. The measure’s fate in the Senate is less likely.   Continue reading “The Patriot Act is now USA Freedom Act”

CLEVELAND, Ohio — With riots in Baltimore fresh in mind and the outcomes of three high-profile police killings ahead for Cleveland, city officials are reaching out to a group of community leaders in an attempt to keep any protests peaceful.

Police and city leaders have assembled neighborhood outreach teams that include religious leaders, youth league coaches, business leaders, motorcycle club members and former gang members to build relationships and “keep their ears to the ground” for any rumors of planned unrest.   Continue reading “Cleveland’s preparations for Brelo verdict include motorcycle clubs, sports coaches”

“Current TPP negotiation member states are the United States, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Chile, Singapore, Peru, Vietnam, New Zealand and Brunei. The TPP is the largest economic treaty in history, including countries that represent more than 40 per cent of the world´s GDP.” (Wikileaks)

“Since 1945, no American President has escaped vetting by elite Globalists. Partisan politics plays no role in this process. The one overriding issue of every Presidency has been: make sure Globalist legislation and treaties pass through to completion. Do not obstruct them. A little crooked President named Nixon got it in his head to erect anti-Globalist tariffs. He found himself on the floor looking up, with Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller’s man, staring down at him, assuring him his days in the White House were over.” (The Underground, Jon Rappoport)   Continue reading “Corporate Gods: “Obama, remember why we hired you; ram the TPP through””

The Market Ticker – by Karl Denninger

Amazing, really.

Police throughout the nation say they fear a growing anti-cop sentiment driven by a handful of racially-charged incidents is making their jobs more dangerous on the streets, where the number of officers killed in the line of duty is rising sharply. The Market Ticker – by Karl Denninger

I’ve laid this out many times over the years but perhaps it deserves a more-concentrated version.

The United States is relatively unique in terms of structure in our governmental system, and has a well-defined hierarchy of laws that the founders put forward a means to respect.  Let’s start with that hierarchy, which is indisputable:   Continue reading “The Hierarchy We Have Lost, And Must Reclaim”

Freedom Outpost – by Tim Brown

Well the truth about Benghazi is finally starting to see the light. As we have theorized in several articles, the Obama administration was involved in an international Fast and Furious by trafficking arms through Benghazi into Syria. Today that theory has been confirmed.

Newly released documents show that US intelligence agencies were fully aware that weapons were moving from the Islamic terror stronghold in Libya to Syria before the attack on the Benghazi compound on September 11, 2012.   Continue reading “Smoking Gun: Obama Admin Was Operating International Fast and Furious Through Benghazi to Syria”

If it often seems like America’s “civil servants” and public officials no longer work for us, the people, it’s because they don’t. The government today, both locally and federally, has been hijacked and turned into a private corporation, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which is definitively nothing more than a for-profit business perpetuating both its own continued existence and the corporate agendas of its puppet masters.   Continue reading “CDC exposed as for-profit corporation colluding with Big Pharma to corrupt government”

A natural gas-fueled drilling rig is shown earlier this year in Mentone, Texas. Texas, which has benefited from fracking, has tripled its production of oil in the past five years.Wall Street Journal – by Russell Gold

AUSTIN, Texas—Last year, a city in North Texas banned fracking. State lawmakers want to make sure that never happens again.

On Monday, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott signed a law that prohibits bans of hydraulic fracturing altogether and makes it much harder for municipal and county governments to control where oil and gas wells can be drilled. Similar efforts are cropping up in states including New Mexico, Ohio, Colorado and Oklahoma, where both chambers of the legislature have passed a bill that limits local governments to “reasonable” restrictions on oil and gas activities.   Continue reading “Texas Prohibits Local Fracking Bans”

In a speech today in South Korea, Secretary of State John Kerry said that the Internet “needs rules to be able to flourish and work properly.” This, according to Kerry, is necessary even for “a technology founded on freedom.”

Speaking on behalf of the Obama administration, Kerry said that Internet policy is “a key component of our foreign policy.”   Continue reading “Kerry: Internet ‘Needs Rules to Be Able to Flourish and Work Properly’”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

Are stocks disconnected from reality? Probably, according to Tobin’s Q, a rather elegant way to assess equity valuations developed by the late Nobel Prize-winning Yale economist James Tobin. Put simply, Tobin’s Q compares the total value of stock prices with the value of underlying assets such as plants, inventory, and equipment (i.e. replacement costs). Add up the value of the equity, then buy all the assets, and see if you have some cash left over. If you do, stocks were overvalued.    Continue reading “The Last Two Times This Happened, Stocks Crashed”
