“Michele Leonhart, the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration, ducked a tough line of questioning from Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) on Wednesday, refusing to answer a number of questions about the comparative health impacts of marijuana and other, harder drugs.

Leonard was testifying before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security.   1. States that have legalized marijuana for medicinal or recreation need to enforce their laws against Federal interference.

    Leonhart will just ignore any State Law that approves dispensing marijuana because she knows that the prohibiting Federal Law supersedes State Law. This isn’t over by a long shot.

    With all the problems in the World, it’s hard to understand why the DEA is still pursuing prohibition of a harmless weed — unless you understand that it is the “Pharmaceutical Industry” pushing the DEA to do so.
