The United States deficit is starting to approach a trillion dollars, maybe getting as high as 1.4 trillion in coming years, this along with a 20 trillion dollar debt, means big trouble for America’s vulnerable, meaning our young and old.
The Democrats warn that the mounting sovereign debt is a “ticking time bomb,” in the words of former Treasury Secretary Jack Lew.
“The next shoe to drop is going to be an attack on the most vulnerable in our society,” Lew said last month.
“We are going to see proposals to cut health insurance for poor people, to take basic food support away from poor people, to attack Medicare and Social Security. One could not have made up a more cynical strategy.”
Of course the Democrats are just as culpable as anybody for our outrages debt, but looking into the abyss of hell gives us an idea what to expect in the near future. America is the world’s largest borrower, and also has the most to lose.
Trump is planning over a trillion dollar infrastructure plan that should have been in the planning over 20 years ago, a last minute emergency fix that past presidents continued to pass the buck on, continuing to ruin American Nationals retirement plans, social security benefits, and health care concerns.
It makes you wonder, how many acres of printing presses are churning out these hundred dollars bills?

I can fix this economy tomorrow. Here’s how: End fractional reserve banking. Print honest (un-borrowed) money. Tell the Rothschilds and China “we don’t owe you squat, get the hell out of here”.
That’s all you have to do to insure that Americans are living well. We didn’t borrow this money, and congress has no authority to borrow it in our name. We’re NOT liable for the “national debt”, because it was an illegal contract to begin with.
The debt has been a scam from the start. How can interest be charged on money that was created out of thin air?!? If we told China and the other nations we supposedly owe money to “Screw off, we don’t owe you a cent!” that alone would resolve most of the issue. How about eliminating ALL FOREIGN AID?!? Who the hell ever helps us?!? The only “aid” going to foreign nations should be VOLUNTARY contributions, not mammon gleaned from the people here who can no longer live under the taxation and financial burdens heaped on them through no fault of their own. “Taxation without representation” is what started the Revolution. Yet, here we stand with a situation far worse, out and out, in your face theft and foreign invasion, and none of us do a thing about it. It’s no wonder America is going to hell in a handbasket.

Smarter? I’m the “village idiot” here at the trenches, but I’ve learned a lot over the years. There are many well informed people here, Henry and Jolly Roger being two prime examples.

Well, the vulnerable will get hit first, always do. But worst? Glad you posted this Mark (and keep on posting!). I’d say the criminal psycho elites will be hit “worst”—
1. the vulnerable will have already been hit, and fortunately, many “vulnerable” will have prepared.
2. the not-so-vulnerable will get hit next and these folks tend to be more prepared anyway no matter what age (if SS and MC goes down, we are prepared. that’s what happens when you have been prepping since the 80s)
3. the millionaire class, esp. entertainers–who are too into themselves to even think about prepping and rely on us “vulnerable” for their moolah–will suddenly wind up has beens real quick, and no one will give a rat’s a$$ if they do! (memo to Jay-Z and the rest—REPENT, ‘cos Satan’s not saving you!)
4. The “invulnerable” like Soros and Gates and them will move into their cutesy wootsey luxury shelters and wait out the apocalypse until either they die and head straight to the Lake of Fire or survive that and then comes God’s Wrath on those who worship Satan, the Beast, and the False Profit (oops, Prophet)…they’ll be praying the mountains fall on top of them… REPENT!
