Dem Senator Begins Filibuster Over Guns

The Daily Beast

Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy began a filibuster on the Senate floor Wednesday morning over the issue of gun control in the wake of the Orlando mass shooting. “I am prepared to stand on the Senate floor and talk about the need to prevent gun violence for as long as I can,” Murphy tweeted. “I’ve had #enough.”

Murphy, who hails from Connecticut, has suggested that Congress was complicit in the Sandy Hook and Orlando tragedies for not acting on gun control measures. Earlier Wednesday morning, Florida Sen. Bill Nelson, also a Democrat, introduced legislation that would allow the FBI to be notified when a current or former terror suspect attempts to purchase a firearm.

  1. Yeah, thats it, congress complicit in non events.

Why don’t these people ever come into our Internet world and learn the truth about these fake events?

The above is a rhetorical question, no need to answer.

  3. He can talk and talk until he’s blue in the face. Our right of self-defense against tyranny remains sacrosanct.

  4. Yada yada yada…..is someone talking?

Murphy’s lips are moving but all I hear is “BLah BLah BLAH!!”
