Bizz Pac Review – by Janeen Capizola
For the first time since his controversial comments on homosexuality landed him an indefinite suspension on the hit show “Duck Dynasty,” Phil Robertsonspoke out and defended his statements and religious beliefs, according to a report from the MailOnline who was granted exclusive access to Robertson on Sunday.
“I will not give or back off from my path because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions,” Robertson said as he led a “defiant prayer” at a Bible study class in his hometown church in Louisiana Sunday.
“During Sunday’s speech, he defended himself, saying he was simply quoting from the Bible and even went so far as to say Jesus could save gay people,”the MailOnline reported. “I love all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater,” he said.
“I am just reading what was written over 2000 years ago. Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the scriptures, but they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference? The sins are the same, humans haven’t changed,” Robertson told the assembled group.
The MailOnline article continued, noting that Robertson, who wore “his full camouflage suit,” spoke for “around 45 minutes” to the Bible study group at White’s Ferry Road Church:
Sexual sins are numerous and many, I have a few myself. So what is your safest course of action? If you’re a man, find yourself a woman, marry them and keep your sex right there.
You can have fun, but one thing is for sure, as long as you are both healthy in the first place, you are not going to catch some debilitating illness, there is safety there.
Commonsense says we are not going to procreate the human race unless we have a man and a woman. From the beginning Jesus said, “It is a man and a woman.” Adam was made and Eve was made for this reason. They left their fathers and mothers and be united to become one flesh, that’s what marriage is all about.
But we looked at it and said it was an outdated stereotype. When you look back at the human race, the sins have always been the same: We get high, we get drunk, we get laid, we steal and kill.
Has this changed at all from the time God burnt up whole cities because their every thought was evil?’
But this week I have been called an ignoramus. This week I have been asked, “Is this the first time you have brought up sin?” I said, “Are you kidding? I have been traveling to and fro spreading this message.”
Then he said, “Well do you invite yourself to go and get your Bible and tell people what you are now sharing with us?” I said, “No they are inviting me.”
According to the article, the class later went down for mass where the oldest Robertson son, Pastor Alan, addressed some of the firestorm the family has faced.
“Well we’ve had a quite a quiet week, shot some ducks, done some shopping, ignited a national controversy,” he quipped to the “thousand-strong congregation” who “have come to his defense and stood firmly behind him.”
More on Duck Dynasty:
I think we’re all a bit too busy right now (or should be) to be distracted by the nonsensical antics of some hillbilly duck hunters and their uninformed opinions regarding human sexuality.
If anyone out there has a brain in their head, and a sledge hammer in their hand, can you please smash the TV nearest you so we may address some of the real problems we face right now?
Can we get the F&%K off fantasy island long enough to be responsible adults? Or should we just sit on the couch, entertained by the TV, just like a baby locked in a crib with his “busy box”?
No doubt Jolly R. I haven`t watched them duck dynasty guys but from what I have seen and heard they make me sick and wouldn`t want too watch them. They remind me of a bunch of holy rollin` bible thumpers.
I worked back in those bayou’s, rivers and streams as a teenager…and I’ve got to say…I think as a group … …they are some down-home, good-folk….
I don’t share in their religious beliefs…or their views on homosexuality, etc….(I have gay relatives & am a Libertarian)…
But at least he has the balls (and money) to stand up for what he thinks is right….look at all these covering, cowering, ball-less weasels who would throw their mother overboard….if the money was right…?

I don’t mean to imply there’s anything wrong with hillbilly duck hunters, or anything bad about being one.
But I wouldn’t be interested in is opinions regarding human sexuality any sooner than I would ask a psychiatrist how to hunt ducks.
dredging up old hatreds. as if we don’t have enough problems. this country is f$#@ed. brother against brother comes to mind. there are christians and or believers in christ jesus who don’t call themselves christian for this very reason who have homosexuals in their families for whom they love and if you think they will allow people such as these to harm or not defend them you are sadly mistaken. leading people away from christ is all they’re doing. why is it a christian can sin continuously and say i’m sorry but not the same for homosexuals. i thought it was the fallen angels who started all this and defiled everything in their sight. the human race has been chemically castrated is one of the reasons this is occurring. although, not the only reason. get your own house in order. your focus should be on jesus not blaming or destroying the homosexuals. heterosexuals sins are numerous. if you watch porn does that mean you are also a homosexual? i know of christians and non christians with open marriages. what does that tell you? i pray for the homosexuals in my family. these guys should try it. if this guy was drowning and was saved by a homosexual i doubt he’d care what he was
our leaders watch snuff films as drones are murdering men, women, and children. are they gonna address that? how selective of them. if they’re being allowed to air their opinions on national tv then its being allowed to create more division and this is why this country is done.
His faith is not the issue here.
What IS at issue is the fact that our right to free speech is under attack. We all have a stake in this fight.
Unless you don’t believe we all have the right to speak our minds, regardless of the subject.
Give the man a cigar. It is refreshing to see this thing isn’t too complicated for some people to see.
