Former Police Officer Found Guilty For Rape

Keloland – by Brandon Van Westen

CANTON, SD – A former police officer will serve at least 15 years in prison for raping a minor.

On Tuesday, a Lincoln County jury has found Marty Banghart guilty of first-degree rape of a victim under the age of 13.

The verdict carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years, due to the victim’s age. First-degree rape is punishable by up to life in prison. According to the Lincoln County State’s Attorney’s Office, Banghart was found not guilty on accompanying charges.

Deputy State’s Attorney Ryan Wiese said Banghart previously worked as a police officer in Corsica and Centerville.

A sentencing hearing has not been set.

  1. A friend who used to live and work in the Centerville area has said the police chief there is a known butt-pirate…

  2. Oh wow… I guess we have a real justice system. They’ve decided to put one out of a hundred thousand rapist pigs in jail. Are you happy now?

All is fine in America. Pigs go to jail too. Go back to your stupid sit-coms and football games because everything’s fixed.
