I believe we’re up to three of those that have been discovered so far. Deep gas explosions are the current theory. The earth may have many surprises in store for us yet.
Don’t these holes look like giant gopher holes? Like something dug it’s way up out of the middle of the earth?
Big question for me is, if these were made by explosions, then why are the interior sides of the walls so smooth like they were drilled or reamed? And why isn’t the dirt blown farther out than where it sits?
