        1. All the Irish I’ve met told my that having Corned Beef and Cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day was “American”, like saying Nachos are “Mexican” food. LOL 😉

          1. btw Angel, I just picked up another copy of my favorite Irish movie. I loaned the one I had to that girl (I think you remember who) I was hanging out with for a while. Haven’t seen her since. Sill convinced about her, though.

Anyway, it’s “The Quiet Man” with the Duke (his best movie, imo) and Maureen O’Hara. Saw it when I was a kid, and at the end when it said that the movie was filmed entirely in Ireland, I told myself I was going there one day.

            ’06 was a very good year. 🙂

          2. # 1 , That is at the top of Hubby’s “Favorite” movies (He’s a Huge John Wayne fan). LOL
Been looking for it on the “Classic Movie” channels all weekend + today. Can’t believe they didn’t play it. 🙁
BTW- “and I like it Too” (remember the old Irish Spring commercials? LOL) 🙂 😉
“The Quite Man” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” are on my DVD wish list.

          3. It’s one of my top five favorite movies, Angel.

            GREAT supporting cast, too. 🙂

      1. Mostly Swedish & German, but with some Irish & French (yuck, how’d THAT happen) thrown in. This according to my mother (God rest her soul).

So yes, I actually DO have a valid claim to SOME Irish-ness. 🙂

      1. Ha Ha Nope Angel, got some of that bad ass everclear though. Going easy on that stuff.
Here is a toast to you and the other long term posters here Angel.
I will behave myself and will be good tonight 😆

    1. Happy St. Paddy’s Day, digger.

I may have to celebrate with Girl Scout Cookies. 🙂

With a little Silver Haze thrown in for good measure. LOL

      1. Nothing wrong with that brother. I wish I was there to join ya .
        Happy St. Paddy`s Day #1.
I know that I do not have to worry about you getting into trouble 😉

        1. Digger … where’d you get my picture? 😀

Just kidding. I’m a redhead of Scotts/Irish/German/English descent, but that’s about it.

          Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 😉
          . . .

          1. 🙂 Happy St. Paddy`s Day Cathleen

That is a Great picture Cathleen – lol – just kidding. great Picture though eh.

I better just be nice and be quiet before I get into trouble eh 😆

          1. No experience with “Wax”, but I’ve eaten some incredible Cookies and Brownies (back in the day). 🙂 😉

          2. I only did it to prove how ludicrous the statement in that article was, Angel. Check the comments on that link I gave Paul.

          3. Hey #1 From what I read in the link you posted making wax is similar to processing hemp oil that Rick
Simpson talks about, that heals cancer.

          4. Lots of ways to make oil Paul. Do a search for Marijuana Nonna and she has a lot of recipes for oil, cookies, brownies , heck a lot of things 😆 Noona is really cool if ya like Herb/marijuana and what it can do for ya. One of my favorites she is. She is a good ole gal for sure she is great 😆

          5. I bet you will like her Paul. I have followed her for a couple of years at least and she is straight up good. 😆

  1. hey you guys. a little late. however………..i am English, Irish, Russian, Dutch, and Polish. whew. so does that count for anything? 🙂

    1. So you must love boiled food, whiskey, vodka, wooden shoes and have a hard time with light bulbs. 🙂 Just kidding Happy St Patrick 🙂

    2. Welllll…… Poland sent troops to the Ukraine border for ‘exercises’ (so they say), Russia is in Crimea (as they should be, and they DON’T want them to join the E.U.), and the U.K. & the Netherlands are both part of the E.U., which desperately DOES want the Ukraine to join.

So……I’d say you’ve got a bit of an ancestral conflict going on there, Paul. 🙂

      1. Very good #1. hah if they sent me back to where i came from they’d have to cut me up in five pieces. then they’d have to figure out which piece of me went to which part of the world. 🙂

        1. The Rothschilds already stole it, NC.

That’s why the leprechaun couldn’t afford to buy his own beer.

          Happy St. Paddy’s Day! 🙂

          1. Yea and the funny thing is, I swear that little twisted leprechaun looked just like McCain! 😈

            Aye, to be sure!

          2. Hahaha! I don’t know. He could definitely play the part perfectly and even fit in the outfit, Paul.
