Not sure how it is at other hospitals but word has it that even if they have Coronavirus patients, the head nurse and other staff are not allowed to disclose any information on what patients have been diagnosed with or how many people have the virus due to confidentiality and privacy concerns. And if they do disclose it, it will cost them their job and license. This is coming from someone who my wife knows who works at a hospital in my area and stated off the record one day that there are Coronavirus patients that she is responsible for at her hospital.
I still don’t believe it, but my wife is going on a frantic germ warfare with anyone and everything that enters the house as though this virus is going to break out any minute if I or anyone else don’t wash and go naked.
This whole pandemic is tearing up people’s lives and families to the point that families are kicking their loved ones out the house or married couples are on the verge of splitting up or getting divorced over it and these f$#kers in government started it all.

NC, I worked as a nurse for more than 30 years. Please tell your wife I am not doing anything different from what I normally do. The hospitals are the incubators for many organisms. That is the place where one must be relentless in cleanliness and disinfecting. To reassure her suggest she be tested for the antibody. If she has the antibody she is immune. My guess is at least half the population has naturally acquired immunity. Stay away from vaccines and she should be ok.

Having worked in the NICU we were very diligent with hand washing. We performed random hand washing audits. No one knew who was making the observations. Without exception doctors were the most negligent with regard to hand washing.

Check this out as to getting infections working in hospitals–in 1971-72, I was a nurses aide at a nearby hospital (where I lived on Long Island). I have gotten staph infections only twice–when I worked at that hospital! My dad died in 2005 age of 85…from a staph infection at a hospital two days after getting back surgery!
I’ve also worked in a Florida nursing home, but as dirty as they could be, almost nothing beats a hospital for germs, bacteria, virus….you name it!
Another (much more sinister) possibility–folks enter hospitals diagnosed with “corona virus,” and are then put on a bus or something, taken to an internment camp, they die there or whatever, their folks are told they died in the hospital but had to have their bodies burned to ashes…and their bodies as actually loaded into a truck or something and mass buried somewhere…Fiction? Maybe. Maybe not.
