The planned deportation of thousands of African invaders pretending to be “asylum seekers” in Israel will definitely happen, and an African state has “unequivocally assented” to all the details, the Israeli foreign minister has announced.
Speaking during an Israeli Knesset committee debate on the deportations, minister Aryeh Deri said that an unnamed state, widely believed to be Rwanda or Uganda, gave “unequivocal assent” to accept Africans forcibly deported from Israel.
Deri told the Internal Affairs and Environmental Protection Committee that there was “unequivocal assent with a third country over forced expulsion,” though he did not name the country.
“I take responsibility for saying this, despite the news from the last few days, that everything is being done with full agreement of the third-party country, which knows everything to the last detail,” Deri said.
The “news from the last few days” has been denials from both Uganda and Rwanda that they have signed deals to take the deportees—although Rwanda has now said that they will welcome any who leave “voluntarily.”
In December 2017, the Israeli parliament approved an amendment to the “Infiltrator’s Law” which paved the way for the forced deportations of Eritrean and Sudanese nationals in Israel, starting in March 2018.
The amendment also made legal the indefinite imprisonment of those who refuse to leave “voluntarily”—a fact which means that even those who do not want to leave, will in all likelihood do so rather than face years in an Israeli jail.
As soon as they have signed the “agreement” form, they will no longer be “forcibly” deported, but “voluntary”—and can then be sent on their way to Africa.
There are approximately 38,000 Africans pretending to be “asylum seekers” in Israel, according to the Interior Ministry. About 72 percent are Eritrean and 20 percent are Sudanese, and the vast majority arrived between 2006 and 2012. After that date, Israel finished its southern border wall and halted all further invaders from entering the country.
According to the government plan, the Africans who choose to leave by March 31 will receive a payment of $3,500 as well as free airfare and other incentives.
Deri added that Israel had already started deportations of those Africans who had not even bothered to apply for “asylum” in Israel. These were mostly young unaccompanied males, he added.
“Oy, Vey. We can’t let the swartzers* in. Let ’em seek asylum in America like everyone else.”
