Washington’s I594 is now in effect, but LAL doesn’t care, as he commits a blatant violation of the new law by not conducting a background check to transfer a firearm.
Initiative I 594 was passed on November 4th, 2014, in the Washington State general election. It requires all “transfers” of firearms to go through a background check, including private sales. It goes so far as to outlaw just handing a gun to a friend. There are very few exceptions to the new law. See more info athttp://www.594badlaw.com/
