Mark: First must mention appreciate your work, effort and photography.
A few questions. Looked on a map are you crossing the Mississippi entering Tennessee? Mainly what is the pyramid in the left corner of the photo?? Curious some kind of a land mark or history.
Yes Harry crossing into TN from Arkansas via the I40 interstate eastbound. That pyramid is an exact copy of the pyramid in Las Vegas, the one in Vegas is a hotel casino, not sure what this one is here. But its definitely some kind of landmark. Mississippi river is always very muddy, never blue water.
The pyramid in Memphis started out as a concert/sports arena. The acoustics sucked and the bathrooms would flood over and over. It was finally sold to Pro Bass shop.

Mark: You stumble into bowels of vast knowledge regarding the pyramid(s) in Memphis. Serendipity. Should have search before asking. Great history in the pyramid in your photo. Best I can tell four pyramids in Memphis. Memphis is the namesake for Egypt. Reason for the Pyramids. The Pyramids are to resemble the Great Pyramids of Gaza. All the Pyramids are designed to represent the Seal on the Dollar bill,(division-space) Capstone. Pyramid on the Dollar Bill is the Seal of the Bavarian Illuminati. The Bavarian Seal has been in existence since 1760 far as I know? Amongst these Pyramids is the Statue of Ramesses the Great. The Memphis Pyramid was officially open November 9, 1991. November 9????? Just the opposite of 911. Think that’s a coincidence?????

It seems that this homage to Egyptian satanism is a bass pro shops/ducks unlimited location. Go figure?
