Barcroft Media photographer Mike Kline captures the frozen landscape after a winter storm hits South Haven in Michigan
Ice hangs from the railings at St Joseph lighthouse. Sharp icicles and surreal formations can be seen sticking out from the railings after strong waves crashed on to the piers. Weather in the area dipped into the minus figures and Lake Michigan froze over at the beginning of January

It has been a brutally cold winter this year. I hate to say it but we have another cold front comeing down from China here. It is to drop back down into the low 50s F here. Few here are prepaired to survive such cold and brutal weather. So we understand how Americans must feel surviveing the cold weather there. But at least you have someting called a furnice in your home we understand that warms the air inside. All we have is Air Conditiones and fans here. To cool the air even more. It must be nice liveing in America with such things as that.
