Market Watch – by Tess StynesNutraSweet Co. said it plans to exit the aspartame manufacturing business to focus on more profitable lines of sugar substitutes, which will result in the closing of a plant by the end of the year.
The Augusta, Ga., company said the aspartame plant employs about 210 workers, including contractors.
Chief Executive William DeFer said foreign competition was the main reason for the company’s shift in focus to its other sweetener products neotame and Twinsweet–an aspartame blend.
DeFer said in a news release Wednesday that neotame and Twinsweet “occupy unique, high value positions in a market where food and beverage makers need low-calorie alternatives to satisfy changing consumer tastes.”
NutraSweet, which is a portfolio company of J.W. Childs Associates LP, said it intends to fulfill its existing customer contracts and will assist customers with supply allocations until the shut down.

Yes, and before this they tried re-branding the poison as “amino-sweet”.
What’s happening here is that too many people have learned the dangers of Nutrasweet (aspartame), so they’re launching a new PR campaign to convince people that they’re not devoted to feeding you the cheapest crap they can get away with.
They’ll never sell any kind of nutritious or healthy foods, or sweeteners, because they’d much rather see you dead, so you may as well start boycotting their new product (or same old product with a new name) before it’s even on the store shelves.
Why would you touch the products of people who TRIED VERY HARD to poison you in the past? They knew aspartame was poison, and they did all they could to force it onto the market, eventually overriding the FDA’s refusal to allow it to be sold.

How does he still evade criminal charges and execution for millions of assault and murder convictions? He is a serial mass murderer…and aspartame was just one of his methods.
I have a pretty good idea why he’s still walking free.
But, if someone out there can give me the real details, I’m all ears.
