The counter-culture group “Rainbow Family” has gathered illegally in Oregon’s Malheur National Forest, site of a federal standoff with a constitutionalist group more than a year ago that resulted in the death of one of it members and seven more being arrested.

The Associated Press reported 600 members of the Rainbow group are already camped near Flagtail Meadow in the park, but Malheur National Forest officials are expecting between 10,000-30,000 to arrive by July 4.   Continue reading “Feds Allow Leftest Group To Occupy Same Oregon Preserve Constitutionalists Evicted From Last Year”

NEW YORK (AP) – Gay pride parades Sunday in New York, San Francisco and other cities are spotlighting resistance to what participants see as new pressure on gay rights, while contending with the prospect of protests over the events’ own diversity and direction.

In a year when leaders are anxious about new President Donald Trump’s agenda, both the New York and San Francisco parades will be headed by groups more focused on protest than celebration. In New York, grand marshals – including the American Civil Liberties Union – were chosen to represent facets of a “resistance movement.”   Continue reading “Gay pride parades sound a note of resistance – and face some”

Portland, Oregon Police Chief Michael Marshman revealed on Friday that riot cops forced Antifa protesters out of local parks during a Jun. 4 protest after the anti-facist group began launching balloons filled with feces, urine and chemicals at law enforcement.

In an open letter to Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, Marshman also noted that protesters “may have been using ‘gopher gassers,’” which are “small rodent poison gas devices.”   Continue reading “Antifa thugs’ protesting hits new, horrible level: read police chief’s account of ‘feces’ mayhem”

Washington, D.C. —There’s currently a push in the halls of Washington D.C., to establish a new branch of the military by 2019, one whose focus would be operations among the stars. Proposed legislation by House representatives would create a “Space Corps” that would serve “as a separate military service within the Department of the Air Force.” It would be the first branch added to the military since 1947 when the Air Force was officially established.

On Tuesday, the top two lawmakers of the Strategic Forces Subcommittee, Representatives Mike Rogers and Jim Cooper, added the legislation to the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The subcommittee oversees military space operations and works within the umbrella of the House Armed Services Committee.   Continue reading “Preparing for War, US House Wants to Create First New Military Branch Since 1947”
