ARMADA, MI — Long lines of traffic formed as travelers attempted to enter or leave the Village of Armada; government agents roadblocked all routes around town and put every driver under scrutiny as part of a massive murder investigation.

The blanket search was conducted on the evening of Thursday, July 31, 2014. Swarms of FBI agents, Michigan State Police, and local police officers joined forces to create three massive checkpoints around the small community (population 1,730), causing traffic to be “backed up for miles.”    Continue reading “FBI, police surround Michigan town with checkpoints, stop & question every vehicle”

Despite concerns around the globe that the Ebola virus may continue to spread and mutate into something even more deadly, the director of the CDC attempted to assuage fears about the possibility of an outbreak on U.S. soil.

“It is not a potential of Ebola spreading widely in the U.S.,” director Thomas Friedman told reporters on a conference call Thursday. “That is not in the cards.”

But while the CDC downplays the potential threat, emergency planners behind the scenes have been getting ready since as early as April of this year. In a report presented to Congress while the virus was spreading in West Africa, the Department of Defense said that it has dispatched biological detection kits to National Guard units in all 50 states with the capability of diagnosing the virus in infected patients in as little as 30 minutes.    Continue reading “Map Of Ebola Quarantine Stations: Here’s Where They’ll Send Those Suspected of Ebola or “Respiratory Illnesses””

Lucky ones: These young teens survived dozens of miles of walking and were handed over to U.S. Border Patrol agents and processed by immigration officials before their release into the interior of the United States pending a court date -- one that few in their position will honorDaily Mail – by David Martosko

The dead bodies of illegal immigrants are turning up in south Texas as Central Americans pour across the U.S.-Mexico border, and a veterinarian who ranches cattle 70 miles from ground zero has the photos to prove it.

Dr. Mike ‘Doc’ Vickers of Brooks County, Texas showed some of the grisly images to MailOnline, all of them far too grotesque to publish unedited.

One picture shows a corpse propped up against a tree near his ranch in Brooks County, his eyes missing and dried blood cascading down his shirtless body.    Continue reading “‘A lot of people die out here’ and ‘all this blood…is on Obama’s hands’: Shocking images show corpses of illegal immigrants left to die after border crossings”

As we previously commented, when scientists start using phrases such as “the worst drought” and “as bad as you can imagine” to describe what is going on in the western half of the country, you know that things are bad. However, in recent weeks the dreadful situation in California has gone from bad to catastrophic as the U.S. Drought Monitor reported that more than half of the state is now in experiencing ‘exceptional’ drought, the most severe category available. And most of the state – 81% – currently has one of the two most intense levels of drought.    Continue reading “The Drought Goes From Bad To Catastrophic”

Flush as we are with nutty performance cars at the moment, we should remember that automobiles as quick as thePorsche 918 don’t come along too often. In 2008, the quickest (and fastest) production car we had ever tested was theBugatti Veyron 16.4. It could hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and burn the quarter-mile in 10.1 ticks. The Porsche 918 crushes the original million-dollar car with a 2.2-second sprint to 60 mph and a 9.8-second quarter-mile time. To put that in perspective, 0.3 second is about how long it takes you to blink. As acceleration times shrink, their deltas become increasingly larger percentage gains, so the 918’s third-of-a-second edge over the Veyron represents an astounding achievement.    Continue reading “2015 Porsche 918 Spyder Tested: 2.2 Seconds to 60!”

This is a call for an immediate, thorough, and independent investigation of Tulane University researchers (see here and here) and their Fort Detrick associates in the US biowarfare research community, who have been operating in West Africa during the past several years.

What exactly have they been doing?

Exactly what diagnostic tests have they been performing on citizens of Sierra Leone?

Why do we have reports that the government of Sierra Leone has recently told Tulane researchers to stop this testing?   Continue reading “What are US biowar researchers doing in the Ebola zone?”

Stop GenocideVNN – by Soraya Sepahpour-Ulrich

While many have not been shy about calling these crimes genocide, they have come under attack for using the “G” word. Is genocide an appropriate term to use? Well, it is if one has respect for international law and the rules of the genocide convention.

Lets not mince words.   Israelis are committing genocide in Gaza.   But the United Nations is loath to use the “G” word and it is using the “C” (condemn) word instead.   Why?  Money talks.     The top financier of the United Nations is America with a whopping 22.00% in direct funds (followed by Japan 10.83%, Germany 7.14%, France 5.59%, and GB 5.18%),  if the United Nations called out the genocide in Gaza, its top financier would have to be punished for its complicity.    Continue reading “Gaza Genocide and Arab Fratricide”

After a long fought battle, the Second Amendment Foundation has won its case in Palmer vs. District of Columbia!

The city will now be forced to allow residents from D.C and other states to conceal carry firearms within its boundaries!

Federal Judge Frederick J. Scullin, Jr ruled, “…there is no longer any basis on which this Court can conclude that the District of Columbia’s total ban on the public carrying of ready-to-use handguns outside the home is constitutional under any level of scrutiny.”

We applaud Judge Scullin’s ruling, because the time is long overdue for the city to realize that it is the capitol of the United States, not a police state.    Continue reading “Second Amendment Foundation’s Biggest Victory Yet”

Democrats have gone into full damage control mode following a vote in the House of Representatives to sue the President of the United States of America for “executive overreach.” The vote was held yesterday, July 30th which was followed by a flurry of emails out of the official DNC/Obama camp HQ begging the acolytes for donations to combat the lawsuit. Interestingly they also mention in the emails that this is a historical first in America… but are they right?

It is now all the fashionable rage in Washington, D.C., to proclaim solidarity with America’s working poor in front of the cameras — while stabbing them in the back behind closed doors.

Privileged Illinois Democratic Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and others have taken to Twitter, posting photos of themselves eating tuna sandwiches and buying Ramen noodles to show how much they empathize with minimum-wage workers.

On the other side of the aisle, GOP Rep. Paul Ryan has wrapped himself in a cloak of compassion, putting a cheesy Taylor Swift hand heart around conservatism by proposing government “life coaches” for those in poverty.   Continue reading “Want a Real Anti-Poverty Plan? Stop Amnesty!”

The 2007 beatdown occurred in a bathroom inside the 40th Precinct stationhouse.New York Daily News – by ROCCO PARASCANDOLA

It took seven years, but Herminio Pizarro finally has some measure of justice after being beaten senseless by a gang of cops in a stationhouse bathroom.

That measure would be $3 million.

A Bronx jury Thursday granted the multimillion-dollar award to the former state correction officer who says he still hasn’t fully recovered from the Aug. 4, 2007, beatdown at the 40th Precinct stationhouse after a confrontation at a street fair.   Continue reading “Bronx jury awards $3M to man who was beaten by cops in stationhouse bathroom in 2007”

Richard Gonzalez was wrongly arrested for a shooting at this Foot Locker in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and then was deliberately prevented from taking his insulin in an attempt to make the diabetic 14-year-old cop to the crime, his family claims in a new federal lawsuit targeting the NYPD.New York Daily News – by BARBARA ROSS, CORKY SIEMASZKO

The NYPD has been hit with a federal lawsuit by a Brooklyn family that claims cops bullied a diabetic teen who was denied insulin while falsely locked up on attempted murder charges.

Richard Gonzalez’s family said the only evidence cops had to tie the 14-year-old special-ed student to an April shooting at Foot Locker in Bushwick were eyewitnesses who told them the gunman was named “Richie.”   Continue reading “Diabetic Brooklyn teen denied insulin after being falsely arrested on attempted murder charges: suit”

A massive anthrax attack will hit the city Friday — or at least that’s what 1,500 staffers from a dozen city agencies will hear first thing in the morning, setting off the biggest surprise emergency response drill the city has ever attempted.

Preparing for the possibility of a biological attack, the workers — aware they’re participating in a drill — will respond to calls starting at 5:30 a.m. and scramble to set up 30 sites around the five boroughs, handing out drugs to combat the deadly agent.   Continue reading “City will participate in massive drill Friday to prepare against possible anthrax attack”

The city medical examiner has ruled the death of Eric Garner, the 43-year-old father whose death in police custody sparked national outrage, a homicide, saying a chokehold killed him.

The medical examiner said compression of the neck and chest, along with Garner’s positioning on the ground while being restrained by police during the July 17 stop on Staten Island, caused his death.   Continue reading “Medical Examiner Rules Eric Garner’s Death a Homicide, Says He Was Killed By Chokehold”

The Ebola outbreak “is moving faster than our efforts to control it,” Margaret Chan, director-general of the World Health Organization, said in a statement Friday. “This is an unprecedented outbreak accompanied by unprecedented challenges. And these challenges are extraordinary.”

This is the first Ebola outbreak in West Africa and involves the most deadly strain in the Ebola virus family, Chan said.

Dr. Lobel collecting samples from Ebola survivors in Uganda. Israel 21 C – by Abigail Klein Leichman

As the most severe Ebola epidemic on record spreads through central Africa, infecting and killing hundreds of citizens and foreign aid workers, and raising the specter of outbreaks all over the world, an Israeli research team is working with survivors to develop antibodies against the lethal virus.

Dr. Leslie Lobel tells ISRAEL21c that he and fellow principal investigator Dr. Victoria Yavelsky have spent many years studying native immunity to Ebola and another equally lethal Equatorial African virus, Marburg, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev’s Center for Emerging Diseases, Tropical Diseases and AIDS.   Continue reading “On the Trail of an Ebola Cure”
