This is what we need more of! Law enforcement to shed light on this phony “drug war”. Very commendable, retired police Capt. Peter Christ! He wants drugs legalized and gives a wonderful break down of why and how the drug war really doesn’t work.
(UPWORTHY) Retired police Capt. Peter Christ is about to make more sense about the War on Drugs than anyone you’ve ever heard in the past. His basic premise is that we need to legalize drugs, but if you’re skeptical, just give him a few minutes to convince you. Highlights include a very honest answer to a commonly asked drug question at 0:54, the easiest question to answer about the War on Drugs at 4:48, the complete destruction of the biggest argument anti-drug advocates use at 7:23, using the Bible to prove the ineffectiveness of prohibition at 13:55, and a rapid-fire debunking of several myths all in one breath at 14:20. Many of the chronically ill in this country would benefit from the use of medical marijuana. I know first hand, its healing powers. The drug war, like all of the other unconstitutional laws, is outdated and inaccurate on its categorization of marijuana.
Darn good post #1 and I do agree with this retired cop 100%. The only thing I have prob.s with is how this cop can live with himself after busting people for illegal drug use and now he is defending legalization. I could write volumes on this subject. These drug laws make me F`n sick. If ALL drugs were legalized completely we would not have the prob. like we do and I speak from experience of over 50 years. If your brain doesn`t produce the drug then you cannot get high on it PERIOD and that is why there are so many false positives with that BS drug test and why the govt, plays off on all of these drug laws. All drug laws are nothing but hippocrital BS. If people are going to use drugs they are going to use them reguardless of what the damned laws are. These drug laws are based on nothing but lies and that goes for all drugs that are controlled with these laws. GOOD POST #1.
You forgot to mention the fact that the so-called ‘government’ is the biggest drug dealer on the planet, digger.
They make bank off of drugs every possible way imagineable.

Oh please, everyone is tired of the lies of why we are taxed to within a nubbin of our lives, the money going to criminals that have usurped our country, and being told what we can believe, think, do, eat, drink, smoke, take, buy, or say, or even being told where we can live, by the stinking old/new world odor cabal and corrupt government officials.
NO MORE TAXES, NO MORE REGULATIONS on cannabis and hemp. Completely decriminalize and deregulate it. It’s a plant. It’s grows almost everywhere. Let it be planted. Let it grow. Let it be used in its innumerable ways with no restrictions. As for other plants or drugs, I don’t care what my friends and neighbors do or don’t do, as long as they do no harm and are not a problem living next to or on the road. It’s time for adults to be adults and time for personal responsibility, and for people who think otherwise to eff off.
To the stinking cabal: 1) Grow up, or 2) leave the planet. (Please choose #2. You won’t be missed.)
