Don’t eat, drink, sleep, or breathe. I don’t know why people are so surprised regarding the nuclear fallout over the USA. Does the average American truly believe that the oil imbibed Gulf of Mexico disaster and the Fukushima nuclear meltdowns were just tragic coincidences?
At the rate that the Pacific Ocean and the North American west coast have become contaminated with radiation, I would give it no more than 10-years (maximum) before we are dropping like flies.
And speaking of insects: the insects and birds shall be our canaries in the coal mine; when they are gone, we won’t be far behind. BTW: there isn’t anywhere on Earth to run, unless you are planning on relocating to Antarctica. Even then your remaining living days shall be shortened. Try to enjoy life while you are still able.

Bees are the ones I try to stay alert to regarding their mass die -offs and diminishing numbers (not just in the N. America regions).

I agree. BTW: the term “old” is 10-years older than you are now. Mark Twain once said that ‘you know you are nearing the top of the hill, when your usual exercise routine is acting as a pallbearer for your friends who exercised’.
I worry about my adult children and grandchildren too but know I am limited in how to prepare sheeple who are unaware of our economic circumstances, or people who know, but choose to ignore our future plight.
I often recite the “Serenity Prayer”:
“God, give me the serenity to accept things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
It would have been interesting to have this technology available through the decades leading up to the last test in the early 90’s. You would be shocked to learn how many bombs were set off in the US as weapons testing. There is a video on YouTube that shows all the weapons testing locations and dates starting from the beginning. Is a good watch if you can search it out.
