Yep, a tragedy. Whenever a species is lost to extinction it is a tragedy. And getting its DNA to create a new one male and female isn’t the solution, either. I am thinking of Revelation 11:18 here…
Poaching helped kill off another species and that’s the real tragedy, it was preventable. There’s so many other animals headed for the same end and it’s not going to stop here. When nature ends a species it’s called evolution, when humans help end a species it’s murder.
