Now that’s the one true negative about living in desert-mountain far west Texas….the nearest lake in Balmorhea (the “oasis” of far west Texas with a cold spring swimming pool at the state park) is closed except to residents (you have to have a trailer or house there to fish, or a friend’s place, etc), and then there is the Rio Grande (fishing license, doncha know)…the pond out here has been dry since 2017 thanks to good ol’ La Nina….
Now that looks like a perfectly beautiful day.
