Gawker – by NEETZAN ZIMMERMAN High school students in Dallas are speaking out in defense of a Spanish teacher whose job might be jeopardy after her Playboy past was recently resurrected.
During her “Coed of the Month” photoshoot back in February 2011, Cristy Nicole Deweese openly admitted to her Playboy interviewers that she was going to be a Spanish teacher some day.
That some day came two years later when Deweese, now 21, was hired to teach Spanish at the Rosie M. Collins Sorrells School of Education and Social Services at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center in Dallas.
But her substantial past as a nude model and sometimes lesbian sex scene simulator soon caught up with her, prompting suggestions that her past behavior was unbecoming of a school teacher.
“It wasn’t an illegal activity, but it raises the question about whether that action violated the Educators’ Code of Ethics,” said Texas Education Agency spokeswoman Debbie Ratcliffe.
Though neither the school district nor the school have issued official statements on the matter, some parents have come forward to express concern that Deweese’s students would now be unable to look at her “without picturing her nude.”
But several students have taken to social networks to stand by their teacher, asking naysayers to leave her alone.
“She’s a teacher now, not a Playbody model anymore,” said one student on Twitter.

Oh! So I get it now. If you are a former Playboy model, (most likely still with a Facebook page and a private fan page) it’s OK? But if you say anything bad about the government or your boss or you are any other normal teacher who feels the need to bitch about the Communist Core education on your Facebook page or any social networking site, then you get fired.
And no one seems to think there might be a problem here?
I guess as long as it dumbs down the students and further destroys the credibility of our education system and America, then it’s OK.
Is this why teachers today look hot? Dumbing down students?

Dumb and dumber by the day..Make her an offer she can’t refuse, let her teach a sex education course.
Sure I’ll sign up for that class. My sex ed was all around me growing up!! Why do kids need a special class for it?
Yeah, your right! Maybe she should teach politics. She could bring in Bill Clinton for a little show and tell. They could call the course the Spanish Inquisition!!!!
