The best way to help your body protect itself against Ebola (or any virus or bacteria)

bodyNatural News – by Derek Henry

With the threat of the Ebola virus spreading, there is a need to understand what natural options are readily available to you in case you don’t want to be subjected to conventional medical treatments and infected patients in hospitals. The only proven system to help eradicate the Ebola virus is your body’s immune system, and it is of primary importance to start strengthening its response now to give yourself the best chance of successfully fighting off an infection.

Work with your body’s natural defenses

The only way to work with your body’s natural defenses is to give it what it requires in order to function at optimal performance. Conventional medical wisdom claims that man-made remedies such as vaccines are superior to those provided by nature, but it doesn’t take a scientist to understand that the toxic chemicals and preservatives injected into the body along with antigens is not a legitimate way to improve immunity.

To improve your immunity, you must improve your relationship with nature and the medicine it provides, which has been proven to keep people healthy for thousands of years. In this case, a focus on healing foods and herbs that have strong antibacterial and antiviral properties is of primary importance, along with improving immune system function and eliminating foods that suppress it.

Antibacterial foods, herbs, and solutions to begin consuming regularly

Even though Ebola is a virus, it only makes sense to start clearing out any harmful bacteria in your digestive system in order for your immune system to function properly. This will allow it to do its job more efficiently, which is a must have when dealing with more deadly infections such as Ebola.

Antibacterial foods and herbs to consider, include:

  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Turmeric (curcumin)
  • Ginger
  • Lemon
  • Cayenne
  • Peppermint
  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Cranberry
  • Calendula
  • Echinacea
  • Oregon grape root
  • Goldenseal
  • Marshmallow root
  • Uva Ursi
  • Yarrow
  • Colloidal silver

Most of these foods and herbs can be used in many different ways in every day meal preparation, but the most potent way to receive their benefits in through tinctures, capsules, teas, essential oils, and freshly pressed juices. A few of them are antiviral as well (like ginger, garlic, cranberry, colloidal silver, and Echinacea).

Stock up on antiviral herbs

In the event that Ebola is found in your region, or you suspect you may have an infection, you may want to consider the following as part of your natural defense:

  • Una de Gato (Cat’s Claw)
  • Pau D’Arco
  • Astragalus
  • Elderberry
  • Lemon balm
  • Licorice root
  • Olive leaf
  • Oregano oil

These proven virus fighters will provide another layer of protection to your overall immune support plan.

Consume immune strengthening foods, herbs, and nutrients

Along with these foods and herbs, it’s also important to consider those things that help solidify a strong immune system, such as:

  • Adaptogenic herbs (reishi, siberian ginseng, astragalus, gynostemma, una de gato, pau d’arco)
  • Liver supporting herbs (milk thistle, dandelion root, yellow dock root, burdock root, artichoke, turmeric)
  • Vitamin C (camu camu, acerola cherry, guava, peppers, kale, oranges)
  • Vitamin D (sunlight and/or fermented cod liver oil)
  • Zinc (supplement or pumpkin seeds)
  • Probiotics (supplement or consider sauerkraut, coconut kefir, apple cider vinegar, and kombucha)

The foods, herbs, and ingestible nutrients listed will provide your immune system with exceptional benefits, and can be consumed in whole food, capsules, tinctures, and tea. Grounding is helpful as well.

  • Ditch foods and behaviors that suppress the immune system

Another very important factor to unleash your immune system is to stop consuming foods and engaging in behaviors that depress it. The biggest culprits in immune suppression are:

    • Sugar (especially refined)
    • Alcohol
    • Dairy
    • Corn, soy, and wheat (gluten)
    • Hydrogenated foods
    • Excess animal protein
    • Excess flour intake
    • Highly processed foods
    • Chronic stress
    • Excessive EMF exposure
    • Limited sunshine or vitamin D supplementation

Improve in all of these areas, and your immune system and energy will reciprocate nicely, both which help your body protect itself against Ebola (and any other viruses or bacteria).

As always, consult with a qualified herbal practitioner or naturopath to determine which herbs and solutions are best for your individual situation. At this time, there is no proven remedy for Ebola, but investing in your immune system and using nature’s medicine quite possibly gives you the best route of action.

  1. Good article, Paul.

I’m glad to see Colloidal Silver (CS) mentioned as an antibacterial food. I’ve experimented in making this silver water solution and it worked quite well to alleviate my upper chest congestion within 12-hours (1-dose is 1-teaspoon @10ppm CS). I would not recommend ingesting CS unless you have an internal bacterial or viral infection.

I did recently prep in advance to talk with a GP-Doctor about using Colloidal Silver to boost your immunity to infections.

He said that the FDA doesn’t approve this product for ingestion — only topical applications for skin cuts/burns and eye infections.

I then asked him, “If it (CS) can be applied (absorbed) into the bloodstream through eye membranes, or skin wounds, then why won’t the FDA approve the ingestion of Colloidal Silver for the treatment of infections, such as Ebola?

He smiled and replied, “You’ll have to ask the FDA that question.”

  2. Whatever happened to Christ? Though a thousand may fall on your right hand, ten thousand on your left, you will not be touched by evil. Though I walk through the valley of death… Whatever happened to that? Can’t we be anointed with the blood of Christ and be confident of getting through this? Somehow I ain’t worried…

    1. “Whatever happened to Christ?”

I was told that Christ died on a cross over 2000-years ago. No one came to help him either, Chris.

“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” -Benjamin Franklin

      1. But I don’t have a spaceship to leave in, I guess I’m not prepared. No seriously, the blood of Christ will get you through this. Don’t tell me you didn’t receive the word?

        1. Yes Chris, I did receive “The Word”, and have witnessed miracles. I also don’t think that all of the thousands of innocent people killed in the War on Terror were non-believers and/or atheists — but they weren’t spared by the Hand of God either.

IMHO, if God wanted us to just sit and give him praise 24/7, then He would not have given us a cognitive brain and eyes to discern the difference between reality and superstition. Furthermore, I contend that if God wanted us to read His Words, then He would have carved Them into the side of a mountain for us to see — He would not need a Divinely inspired scribe or priests to interpret them.

If you desire to sit on your roof and wait for the Rapture, then do so… but you may want pack yourself a big lunch.

          1. The blood of Christ would be that thick dark liquid made from Cannabis by Rick Simpson. That was the Anointing oil. I’m talking about a real substance. Cannabis is our Savior!

        2. I received his word — “God helps those who help themselves”

Can’t expect the Big Guy to do everything now, can we? And why should HE help those who don’t help themselves?

Seems to me like you have to show the will to survive first, and that’s best shown through your actions.

  3. “God helps those who help themselves.”

Could someone please give me the chapter and verse from the Bible that this comes from?

    1. “Could someone please give me the chapter and verse from the Bible that this comes from?”

You’re right, Rota. These words do not appear in any Bible verse.

As Jolly Roger stated, “I received his word –”

Did you believe that God only speaks and/or reveals Himself to Bible scholars, scribes, and clergy?

  4. Luke 10:21 ” In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said , I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.”

God does not help those who help themselves. That phrase is from the pit of hell. That shows pride, you know, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life? No one is going to tell me that the LORD GOD came down here to save a sinner like myself by dying on the cross so that I can now say “I did it without God’s help?” I guess the passage “I can do all things through Christ” should actually have been written “I can do all things without Christ!” Allow me to share what the Word Of God says about Help and you will see in Scriptures that God helps those who CALL upon HIM for help (small sample of the 166 times that the word “help” is used):

    Psalm 20:2, Psalm 22:11, Psalm 22:19, Psalm 27:9, Psalm 28:7, Psalm 30:10, Psalm 33:20, Psalm 35:2, Psalm 37:40, Psalm 38:22, Psalm 40:13, Psalm 40:17, Psalm 42:5, Psalm 44:26, Psalm 46:1, Psalm 54:4, Psalm 59:4, Psalm 60:11, Psalm 63:7, Psalm 70:1, Psalm 70:5, Psalm 71:12, Psalm 72:12, Psalm 79:9, Psalm 89:19, Psalm 94:17, Psalm 108:12, Psalm 109:26, Psalm 115:9, Psalm 115:10, Psalm 115:11, Psalm 116:6,
    Psalm 118:7, Psalm 118:13, Psalm 119:86, Psalm 119:173, Psalm 121:1, Psalm 121:2, Psalm 124:8, Psalm 146:3, Psalm 146:5, Isaiah 41:10,
    Isaiah 41:13,

    Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

    1. I respect your strong faith, Rota. However, I have a hard time accepting a book which was abridged by 300 Bishops attending the Council of Nicaea in 325AD. These Bishops voted to excluded many Gnostic Gospels, or personal witnesses’ testimonies, whom lived a walked with Jesus. Why?

As a child I was taught about Jesus, who was the Shepard or, the Teacher of man. Later in life, this Sunday School lesson led me to a self-derived assumption: If Jesus was a teacher, then he must have been able to read and write.

This assumption led me to a conclusion: If Jesus could write, then he MUST have written a Gospel.

This conclusion led me to an unanswered question: If Jesus wrote a Gospel, what would Jesus have written?

To date, we have only read what witnesses wrote into parchment records, and what his disciples’ wrote in their Gospels. Furthermore, Gospels written by the followers closest to Jesus, before and after his crucifixion, were not accepted for entry in the New Testament; E.g. The Gospel of Mary (Magdalene) and The Gospel of Judas.

The Bible has also gone through revisions: King James Version, NIV, and the New American Standard Bible (NASB), where some verses are not in the original sequence and have twisted words (for better understanding?). Therefore, I see this as revisionists’ history which has led Bible Scholars to debate their interpretations, of a revised Bible, with exclusions of Witnesses’ Testimonies… yet, the Bible is still called the Word of God; conveniently written (edited) by the hands of men, whom were allegedly “Divinely Inspired by God”.

Again my question: Do you believe that God only speaks and/or reveals Himself to Bible scholars, scribes, and clergy?

Putting aside all the questionable acts of the Bible editors, we can at least both agree that God works in mysterious ways. God created the realm, in which both Good and Evil share; each of us is given free will to choose either of these paths in life. For us to force our beliefs on another person would parallel the acts of the Roman Catholic Inquisitions. For us to question or interpret God, would be analogous to an earth worm attempting to contemplate the acts of man.

I have stated my reasons for questioning the dogmas of Denominational Religions and their Holy Books, which divide Nations, create Wars, and lead to killing in the name of God. This is a blasphemy (IMHO).

I will close with the statement that Jolly Roger posted: “Can’t expect the Big Guy to do everything now, can we? And why should HE help those who don’t help themselves?

Seems to me like you have to show the will to survive first, and that’s best shown through your actions.”

I have shared everything I can regarding my thoughts, Rota. There is nothing you could say or quote from scripture that will change my mind.

      Peace.
