  1. What do you mean WANTS? They’ve already given it to us.

    The term “inflation” refers to an increase in the money supply. Most people interpret it as “higher prices”, but that’s really the result of inflation, not the definition.

    The God-only-knows quantity of money recently created must result in higher prices as the laws of supply and demand devalue the dollar (more dollars means each one suffers from decreased value, so more of them are needed to buy any given object), but it takes a while for that to result in higher prices.
