Speaking of corporations… Over the years when an issue would lead me to give testimony at city council (that was when I didn’t know it was all corrupt) I’d notice some men over to the side who once in a while would walk over to a council member and whisper something in his or her ear. I asked who they were and was told they are “Corporation Counsel,” there to oversee the legal aspects of things. It struck me funny, strange. They always showed up when things were heating up. And those two words: CORPORATION COUNSEL, can it get any more blatant than that? The corporate arms reach EVERYWHERE under so many different disguises.
