The Word From the Trenches will be incorporating The Pub into our broadcast, Monday through Friday, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Pacific time, per the request of one of our regulars, Deb. To get into the conversation in The Pub, you will need Java which can be downloaded for free here: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
I will have The Pub up on one of the broadcast computers and will be checking it during the breaks and music. Laura will also be monitoring The Pub and will bring to me via Skype relevant questions and reports as they come up.
We hope this will add to our people’s participation in the broadcast, as the broadcast, like this site, belongs to all American nationals in the Trenches.
We named our chat room The Pub in accordance with our site theme, as the uniting of our founders and their discussions from the grass roots came in a part from the pubs as well as the churches. So we welcome all who wish to join us in The Pub during every broadcast of The Word From the Trenches.

Not only that… We won’t get any work done around the house. I was just thinking about that because I have wireless head phones where I can walk around the house and pick up the broadcast.

This is why I never made much of The Pub. We pretty much do our talking here in the comment section and a lot more people are exposed to our thoughts. The Pub is just a place we provided for private conversations. Hopefully the conversations started in The Pub during the broadcast will revert right back to the comment section after the broadcast.

Thanks Henry! I’m usually one to listen to your broadcast with the headphones on while doing house work or cooking dinner. I thought The Pub would be great for anyone that wanted to get a message to you during the broadcast, who couldn’t call in.

Ha! Deb, ain’t the headphones cool? I got mine for Christmas from my wife so she could watch TV without having to listen to my talk radio shows blasting all over the house. hehe

Everyone in my house looks at me like I’m crazy if I am laughing about something being said in a broadcast. The Darwin List that Henry was reading on one show comes to mind. 🙂

No digger, just did a critical areas scan. Full scan takes too long, and I did one not too long ago anyway.
