This, Shannon Watts, Is Why We Need Guns To Go Grocery Shopping

Tell us again, Moms Demand Action, why we shouldn’t have the right to defend ourselves from brutal and senseless assaults like this when we go out in public.

A Kroger employee tells WMC Action News 5 that the attack happened at the Kroger near Highland Street and Poplar Avenue.

According to police, three people were jumped by a large group of teenagers who were chanting “fam mob.” The group, who came from CiCi’s Pizza, reportedly attacked a 25-year-old customer as he left his car to enter Kroger. Two employees, ages 17 and 18, were attacked while trying to stop the fight. Both were “struck several times in the head and face, while being knocked to the ground.” The victims say large pumpkins were thrown at their heads. They both eventually were knocked unconscious.

The victims were treated on the scene for their injuries. All three refused to be taken to the hospital. The 17-year-old victim’s father said his son is OK and is at home.

Note the amusement of the person filming the attack (They got a white dude!”) as fellow human beings are beat unconscious by a bloodthirsty mob.

This, Shannon Watts, is why we open and conceal carry.

Unlike you, we don’t have armed guards paid for by arrogant billionaires. We have to defend our families against crimes like this which seem to be happening with increasing frequency.

  1. Unintelligible she-boon filming this debauchery as well as the guilty sub-humans committing this violence need a lesson in humanity and in being human. I don’t take my garbage out without being armed because I’d rather have it and not need it than vice versa. Being defenseless leaves you subject to the good will and good intentions of others and let’s face it, some have nothing but violence and malice in their evil hearts.

  2. Which is why I live where I do. When the you know what hits the you know what I am afraid that it will not be safe for certain folks in cities unless they can open carry guns.
