Trencher Alert: Prayer Request for Wade’s Mom

Received the following email from Wade:

Dad called me this morning crying, which is so rare I have only heard it three times in my life. They have been on vacation for for four months and were returning to Vegas in a week or so. My mom was not feeling very well so Dad took her to the hospital. An hour after the tests they informed my Dad that she has terminal cancer.

If you could please say a prayer for Mom.

  1. Prayers and strength to all of you, Wade. Best wishes for her comfort, peace and resolve no matter what her choice is. Sorry.

  2. Do not tell your mom she is terminal,do not let them talk you into giving her any of their treatments because they do it for the money, contact hospice ASAP.
They did this to my dad and i would not allow it again.

So sorry but do not make it worse.

  3. Wade. will be praying for you and your mom/dad. i will be contacting friends to pray for you all as well.

God Bless you and your family.

    Stay strong Brother.

    Paul

  4. Sorry to hear about your Mom. It’s a real shock I’m sure.
In addition to your Mom, take care of yourself and your Dad.
It’ll be especially tough on him.
    Stay strong.

  5. I’m praying for your mom, you, and the rest of the family. There is a lot of good information on how to fight cancer without the toxic poisons that “physicians” try to give people. Laetril (B17) certainly can’t hurt and may just turn things around.

  6. I have asked God’s Blessings on your Mom, and your Dad and yourself. Please seek the heart of God in this hour of your trials. He is near, and longs to bless each of you with His Mercy and Grace. Sometimes we encounter things that seem too great for anyone to overcome. These things come to reveal to us the need we have for a greater power to intervene in our “normal” world.
NOTHING is too great for God to overcome. Seek Him personally, and He’ll show you what you must understand.

    ” Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us ”
    — 2 Corinthians 1:3-10

All God’s blessings on each of you and your Mom, who all must walk this path together. Please reach out in faith and trust to the Savior who loves each of you. We will continue to speak to God on your behalf, that you might sense His presence and Love for you.
If you need to talk, holler at Henry and he will get you in touch with me.

  7. I sure hope everything works out.
I still have the pain of watching my loved ones pass.
I think that’s just part of the reason why I drink so much.
It leaves such a big hole in your heart.
    I feel your pain brother.
    Be strong and God bless.

  8. I can not pray for I am an unbeliever but I can have empathy for your mom. I too have cancer and refuse to poison my body. Be there for her and be positive. I recently saw a woman who was diagnosed with less than a year to live so she decided to spend that time on the road. She is now over a year and still going. I believe it is the power of positive thinking and persistence. Refusal to give in and a will to live.

Do not give up do not give in.

  9. You are not alone Wade, you are part of our family. There are people you don’t even know thinking and praying for your mom. Stay positive and have faith.

    1. Just what we plan to do Hal. Thank you all for your prayers. Mom is seventy nine years young and fears nothing. She has the energy of ten people. We are going try everything natural. No chemo or radiation.
