Trump Won’t Pursue Charges Against Hillary: “She’s Been Through Enough”

Zero Hedge – by Tyler Durden

After Trump stunned the nation during the second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, in which he quipped that under a Trump presidency “she would be in jail”, and suggested that he would demand a special prosecutor probe into Clinton’s email server and the Clinton foundation, moments ago MSNBC’s Morning Joe reported, citing a source, that president-elect Donald Trump will not pursue any investigations into his former political rival Hillary Clinton “for her use of a private email server and the Clinton foundation.”

Trump reportedly feels that Clinton has “been through enough.”

Trump had routinely attacked Clinton on the campaign trail over her use of a private server as secretary of State and for foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation while she was in the Obama administration.

The report, first announced by Mika Brzezinski, comes just a week after a 60 Minutes interview where Trump indicated that he may not launch a full investigation into the Democratic nominee. “I’m gonna think about it,” he said at the time to Leslie Stahl. “I don’t wanna hurt them. They’re good people,” he continued of the Clintons.

Moments later, Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway appears to have confirmed the MSNBC report, saying there will be no Clinton investigation during a follow up interview:

Quoted by Bloomberg, Conway said on MSNBC that “I think when the president-elect…tells you before he’s even inaugurated he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges it sends a very strong message — tone and content — to the members,” Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said on MSNBC.

Following MSNBC report that a source said Trump wouldn’t pursue Hillary Clinton investigations, Conway was asked whether Trump would encourage congressional Republicans to stay away from Clinton investigations as well in order to focus on legislative agenda
“I think Hillary Clinton still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don’t find her to be honest or trustworthy but if Donald Trump can help her heal then perhaps that’s a good thing”

“I think he’s thinking of many different things as he prepares to become the president of the United States and things that sound like the campaign aren’t among them”

  1. Trump should immediately be arrested and tried for treason! How can anyone just dismiss the criminal activity of the Clintons and be taken seriously on any other law enforcement issue?

It just goes to show that they’re all in bed together, doing dirty deeds we dare not think about, much less, want to hear about, and they’re all laughing at us as they sip their $5000.00 a bottle scotch while discussing how deep they’re gonna jam it in tomorrow.

“Go back to bed”. “We have everything under control.” “Don’t forget to take your obedience pill!”

They don’t need “obedience pills” as they have “obedience batons”. If you step out of line, they give you your “medicine.” “Any one need a dose?” We’ll be happy to administer your “medicine” for you!”

  2. I’m sure the loyal Trump voters will be out in full force rounding Trump up or perhaps, this Hamiltonian group trying to get the electors to vote for someone else will now have their plans actually looked at and considered.

Trump the traitor!!!! We at FTT expected nothing less.

  3. This comment comes from What Really Happened, Mike Rivero.
“I am being flooded with angry emails right now, and I too am greatly disappointed that the United States still has a criminal class that is above the law. In one stroke, Trump has already damaged his credibility as chief enforcer of the US laws. A lot of the support he had to win this election will likely abandon him on the re-election.

However, politics is a practical profession, so let us take a closer look. The fact that Conway delivered this statement signals this is (as even CNN notes) a political message rather than a legal one.

Trump knows that the rioting in Portland and elsewhere, along with the threats against the electors, is organized by a group of people deathly afraid of going to jail, and even willing to assassinate him to avoid their day in court.

So, what I expect has happened is that a deal had been made for Hillary to fade quietly into private life in exchange for calling off the riots and threats to the electors, which I suspect we will see vanish in the next few days.

I don’t like this decision, but I understand why Trump may have seen this as the best way to quiet down those trying to delegitimize him before he even takes the oath of office. And if I am correct that Hillary was selling US secrets to foreign interests with that private email server and using the Foundation to collect and launder the payments, then Trump doesn’t need a scandal on such a scale to be made public and delegitimize the entire government he is about to take charge of. Like I said, I don’t like this decision, but I understand why Trump may have seen this as the optimal course.”

People continue to make excuses that this govt. is not an international criminal insurgency, and the only way to free ourselves is to stand up and defend our lives as we are at war.

      1. Yes he did. I called into his broadcast laying out the Bill of Rights and other points and he basically wasn’t interested.

He was Trump all the way cuz he was an outsider, so says, Mike.

What are pop ups you mentioned?

        1. If you go on his site you get add pop-ups. Not nice banners in the content or along the sides but these pop-ups. I don’t know what they are for because my phone blocks them but they are annoying.

I don’t know if Mike was blinded by his hate for Clinton’s or if he is that stupid or if he is just another disinformation agent but an outsider, Trump is not. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and he has done nothing to remove it. Instead he has grown a great empire. I have nothing against wealth. I enjoy wealth myself but, you don’t get his ki d of money without murdering, stepping on and robbing people.

  4. Hopefully this will wake up all those who thought that change from within was possible.
JFK was a fluke and it will not be allowed again.
    Trump………
As Mr. Gregory said about Ob “he is just a man with a job ”
He will do whatever his employers demand of him
