My parents met while stationed at Ladd AFB (now defunct) in Fairbanks. That’s where I was born, on the base. Was less than a year old when their tour was up and they moved here, of all the rotten luck (for me, unfortunately). 🙁
Needless to say, I don’t remember ANY of it.
Still would rather be there than here, regardless. 🙂
I say all us trencher’s pack up and head to Alaska. What an army we would have!
