This was the illegal invader talked about in my rant below. A 23 year old dangerously incompetent enemy of America.
No brakes doing 100 mph downhill.
It looked to me from the footage that the guy was on flat ground, so I called Mark and asked him about it.
The fact is the guy had just dropped down out of the mountains where he had been out of control of the truck for quite a ways, even passed up an escape ramp while out of control.
I think we need more Cuban truck drivers.
But this does explain why the wreck looked like a flat place and how the brakes could have been burned up.
I’ve driven that stretch of road many times, bottom line the guy didn’t have a f-king clue what he was doing. Makes one wonder if they get their CDLs from the same guys they get their social security numbers from.
Insane.

I used to live near there and drove past that bridge almost every day for 32 years. I frequently smelled hot brakes in the area and occasionally would see a truck by the side of the road with smoking wheels. Now with the traffic getting bottled up frequently on I-70, this accident was just waiting to happen. The escape ramp is a few miles uphill and there is a curve just downhill from the ramp that usually nails the runaways.
Mark what company running those all white rigs no marking no we’re ? I had one passing cars an pickup truck last week on a two lane country road , I watch in my mirror as he passed people without a care we’re he done it , he came around two cars behind and came around me on a blind hill and a car pop over the hill and I jump on my brakes to let his ass in front of me it was a 55 mile zone , when he came back over I though his rig was going to turn over , in all my time I never seen a driver doing the crap he was doing
